This is my second challenge. My biggest handicap is that I have not published my children's fantasy novel using KDP. So it's challenging to monitor sales easily. However, I have been breaking even - I think! In order to convert impressions to clicks, and ultimately sales, I am considering the following things:
1. Change the book subtitle. Currently the book title and subtitle are: The Dinosaur Encounter: The Alberta Episode. I'm toying with: The Dinosaur Encounter: A Middle Grade Fantasy or The Dinosaur Encounter: First Book in the Blue Crescent Moon Series
2. Drop the price on the e-book from $4.99 to $3.99, although I'm finding that e-book format is not a huge favourite among young readers.
3. Republish on KDP.
I'd appreciate if you would indicate your preferred copy for my children's fantasy novel.
1. A young girl gifted with time travel. A dino egg tragically lost. Can she and her siblings pull off a rescue mission without risking their lives?
2. A vanished dino egg. A daring rescue mission. Can a young girl with a gift for time travel save the day without going extinct? (thank you Lee)
3. A lost dinosaur egg. A time-traveling girl. Can she and her siblings save the day without losing their lives?
Created 5 keyword campaigns using a Top 100 list on Amazon, which actually produced over 600 relevant keywords. Fiddley work but definitely doable!
Created one category campaign using WII content for the paperback version of my children's novel.
My WII copy is "The Dinosaur Encounter: The Alberta Episode is the first thrilling tale in the Blue Crescent Moon series of magical juvenile novels."
Not original but ...
This is my second Challenge. I loved the first one and know I will equally the second one. My plan to complete the work is to review videos 1-5 daily from Thursday January 12-16. My goal is to finetune my campaigns to generate some profit for the paperback version of my children's novel. Go team!

My second children’s novel – The Harbour Explosion: The Nova Scotia Episode – just received a 5-star rating from Reader Views, the book review service for independent authors. An excerpt from the formal review follows. My heart soars!
“For children who love adventure and traveling to various parts of the world, this charming book will satisfy their adventurous spirit and ignite curiosity. The characters are well-developed and relatable; young readers will undoubtedly see themselves in one, if not more, of the siblings, and the author has made learning exciting and effortless. In addition, the book is chock full of various facts to entertain and inform inquisitive kids (and parents!) alike.”
My author website has been updated to include my new book, and second in the series of young readers’ historical fiction/fantasy. The story is one of courage and compassion set in a tragic historical event with an uplifting ending which will leave young readers wanting more. Check out my revised website at https://lisaoatwayauthor.com/. I hope you like my newest addition to the Blue Crescent Moon series. And don’t forget my first book as well – The Dinosaur Encounter: The Alberta Episode. Happy reading!
