Had the opportunity to visit my family’s historic farm yesterday. So many signs my ancestors inspire my work and guide my practice. Grateful for the confirmation I’m on the right path.

I’ve been working so hard on my aesthetic and trying to be more genuine in what I do. I’ve had time to play, reflect and pivot this summer. I’m excited to start teaching tomorrow at .studio! I wrote my first guided meditation for wheel throwing and can’t wait to try it out! Keep the peace everyone!

Drinking coffee for the first time with my new mug. Aside from supporting other artists, I think it’s important to use the work of other potters and use it often. I’m sitting here examining what he does and why or how and it inspires me to be a better artist. Or it confirms some of the things I’m doing right. Either way, huge lessons going on right now! Speaking of lessons, this weekend I’ll be learning to salt fire at . So stay tuned for some new stuff! It’s nice to play student for a week this summer!

The Tower….when this card appears in a reading, people freak out. It’s an omen of something coming that will shock you to your core. The lightning strikes and your world crumbles. However, I don’t see this as a bad card. Sometimes we need the lightning to strike in order to rebuild something even better. The Tower for me is an opportunity to wipe the slate clean or redirecting our path towards something greater. Yeah, it might suck for a bit, but once we get past the shock, rebuilding can bring us enlightenment. I’ve decided to start using the cards that others ‘fear’ on my work because not everything has to be ‘feared.’ Come and grab this beauty Friday at Midsummer Night Market 6-10!

I’m not sure what to say in response to the Roe vs. Wade decision. We knew it was coming. And we’re angry and scared of what happens next. I’ll tell you something I see that I don’t think anyone else sees right now. Women are organizing. Women are manifesting. Women are making moves in silence. Strong powerful beautiful women. And the people that govern this country aren’t paying attention to that. This account is to promote my pottery business, but if you scan back just a bit, you will see this empire forming of women owning and running their own businesses, marketing, hustling…and we are making moves in silence. And one day the world will wake up and not be ready when we take it over. So keeping forging ahead sisters of the moon. We may have lost a battle, but we are going to win the war.

After a successful weekend last week, today I’m taking a day of rest…and also nursing a sore shoulder and elbow! But welcoming the first ‘summer’ day of the year with cucumber seltzer and a little pool/family time ❤️

What an amazing day !!! Not only did I sell a bunch of pottery, but I met and made some really great connections with some really great people! A HUGE shoutout to for helping me ‘market’ my work and also help me pack and unpack my booth! So grateful for our friendship!!!!
