Here’s a bit of good news
COVID-19 hospitalizations in Northwest Arkansas have decreased by about 50 percent. According to the NWA Health Care Providers, at the peak of the COVID-19 surge in NWA on July 7, 113 people were hospitalized. Today, July 29, that number is down to 57.

Madeleine is a recent college graduate from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. At UAFS, she studied constitutional law under Dr. Ferrell Hanson, including but not limited to classes dedicated solely to the Supreme Court of the United States and the Bill of Rights. To achieve her degree, she wrote her thesis on the evolution of presidential elections with regard to the role of public opinion and the political machine.
In her senior year, Madeleine served as the intern for the UAFS chapter of the American Democracy Project. In this role, Madeleine assisted with Mayor McGill’s second annual State of the City Address as well as other civic events.
