I’ve always heard about croffle from koreans for YEARS and i finally had a chance to try it here at the oc source 😍 this stuff is crazy good it exceeded my expectations. The croffle itself is actually crispy outside and soft inside 😫 with the cream on top, each bite feels like you are eating a cake 🤤 my bf is obsessed now so we are going back for more 3 times this week 🤣 have you tried croffle before?

I was seeing croissants all over my feed so here is my local favorite croissant place ❤️

If you want to feel like you just transported to paris for a morning coffee, you have to check out moulin 🥰 i love this place so much literally as soon as you walk in you see a spread of bread and butter, jam, sandwiches and pastries 🥹 apparently these are super close to parisian style food and i’ll know for sure in 2 weeks when i visit paris 😚 if you do come here i LOVED their croissant as is and this sandwich bc idk what they do to their eggs but it’s so creamy and soft 😮‍💨 also my favorite pastry from there is lemon tart 😋 make sure to go a bit early bc it gets crowded real quick!

How are you guys doing in hillary hurricane? I definitely have not prepared at all and honestly glad that i didn’t bc it’s just a regular rain in where i am located 😅 to stay in for the rainy day, today i have ramen for you guys 🤩 ever since i moved to OC, i haven’t found a ramen spot that beats anything like Josui Ramen in Torrance 🥲 i do have pretty high expectations but this spot has truly exceeded mine 🤭 i loved their spicy broth and the thin noodles as well as yolky eggs. The only thing that i wanted to improve was their chashu but it was a great bowl overall 🫡 we passed out asleep for 4 hours after this bowl so i guess you can say that it was definitely a soulful bowl 😜 i will be going back bc it’s nearby but still josui ramen has my heart 🤤

I feel like everyone in LA knows about this spot and it’s definitely worth the hype 😆 the vibes in the restaurant is clean and nice and there weren’t that many people there when i went for brunch 😋 the crispy provolone was so cheesy so crispy and the sauce just makes it that much better 😮‍💨 i am lactose intolerant so I couldn’t eat too much but i loved it so much i still think about it 🤤 the crab benedict was also very good and yes it is pricey but you do get the soft and sweet crab meat 🫣 personally though, i would prefer bouchon’s crab benedict over ospi if i am paying that much for such a little bite 🤧 lastly the pasta was SO GOOD. They definitely make their pasta in house and the chewiness from fresh pasta tells me they know how to pasta 🤭 this spot is perfect for brunch with girlies and a special date night 🥰

I literally went to din tai fung a day before this and seven grams is SOOO much better 😂 The flavor in xlb is so much more flavorful and brothy abd it’s fraction of a price 😚 Not gonna lie din tai fung has better spicy chilli wonton bc of the sauce but seven grams just as up there with flavor palette 🤩 I also tried the potato string shrimp for the appetizer and it was SO FIRE 😮‍💨. If you are in costa mesa and want another option please check this restaurant out!

Hello everyone~ I HAVE MISSED YOU ALL 😭 I am officially back to my foodie account and i cannot wait to share all the food i have been eating while i was gone 😆 This place is called Hatch in downtown LA, and i had high expectations based on the yelp review but i was disappointed 🥲 The presentation of the food is great but the actual taste isn’t anything spectacular 🥹. For the price that i am paying i think the most memorable one was the squid ink karaage and the chicken meatball… the rest were mid at best and thought it lacked flavors 😐. I don’t plan on going back and there are so many amazing hole in the wall yakitori or izakaya place in socal i’d rather stick to those 🥸. I am so excited to be back and there are lots of content coming your way~ see you guys soon 😇
