Checking in is an important part of any yoga practice. Yoga is a stimulus; we are the lived experience of our practice.
After the lights have dimmed and we have rolled up our mats, the benchmark questions we started with will inform us what impression yoga has left in its wake.
We are likely on the right path when we know what we practised has fed our soul.
We lead busy lives and often forget to tend and befriend ourselves. If we take the time to have intimate conversations with ourselves, we are more likely to make the right choices for our existence—the ones that shore up our worthiness.
Be brave enough to enter into embodied conversation.
Listen deeply to her callings.
Any internal or external communion you have, picture it as being directed towards an old friend you have lost touch with.
This old friend is you, and she has been waiting for you to make contact.
Heart Questions
• What is coming up for me in my life over and over again?
• Is there something I came in with that now seems less important?
• Is there love radiating through me?
• What have I let go of?
• How do I want to be in a relationship with those important to me?
• Can I befriend all parts of myself today?
• What is the best thing I can do for myself right now?
• How can I express friendliness towards myself in this moment?
• What act of loving kindness will reinforce my self-worth today?

Heading back from a weekend away an wanted to share some of the beauty from the Vermont mountains.
Here’s a quick reminder to sign up for the new class at my home studio starting Tuesday evening:
Gentle yoga for mobility.
Space is limited, so please reply to let me know if you'd like to reserve a spot.
If it’s something you're interested in but something is not quite right to join, please comment with what you’d like to see!
The goal is to increase strength as well as flexibility in a gentle way. So, most of this class will be spent seated or lying down with a few standing poses. And then, we will wind down for the evening by twinkle light during final relaxation (savasana).
Cost is $65 for the six week session. Drop-ins will be $15 for this class and only if space is available.
I'm happy to answer any questions you may have, so please do not hesitate to ask!

A quick note to you all on this grey day to let you all know what I’ll be up to this spring and to invite you to join in!
But first, let me tell you about the picture above. Pansies...a favorite of mine. Well, I didn't plant this little pansy. It just decided to grow between the stones on my patio. There isn't much to grow in right there, yet it survives and adds a bit of softness to the stone surrounding it.
It is an unexpected treasure. Something that makes me smile.
What small things have you noticed recently that bring a smile to your face when you least expect it?
Back to what I'll be up to. First and foremost, there will be a Cystic Fibrosis fundraising yoga class on April 30th, 3PM at Studio East in Uxbridge, MA. See attached flyer for details!
Next, I’ve added mid-morning classes to my schedule as well at a couple of locations:
Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 am at Studio East in Uxbridge.
Wednesday at 9:00am starting in May at Bluezone Integrated Fitness in Whitinsville.
I’m continuing my weekly Tuesday, 6pm Hatha class at my home studio. Email or message to sign up!
