The regular council meeting has been canceled for Monday, August 5th. And has been moved to the alternative meeting day which is August 19, 2024 at 5:30pm.

Come out to the Community Parade recognizing the Cherokee High School (former Middle School location) students and graduates from 1939-1969 which is formerly known as the school for African-American students before the schools integrated.

The Town of Cherokee will have the following item up for a silent auction for 10 days. If you would like to bid on them please write your bid on a piece of paper and place it in a sealed envelope. You can drop it off at the office between 8am- 4:30pm.
Deadline for bids will be July 12, 2024 by 4:30pm.

Due to the weather this morning, townhall will open at 10:00am.

There will be a PUBLIC HEARING about the possibility of selling the Gas Department. It will be Monday, May 13, 2024 at 5:30pm. The hearing will be held at town hall.

The council meeting for tonight has been rescheduled for April 15, 2024 at 5:30pm, with work session at 5pm.

There will be a special called council meeting on March 14, 2024 at 5:30pm about:
1)taking new bids for 8th Street Ditch Grant Project
2) Library Financials
3) MWPP Resolution
4) Gas Violation/Near Future Costs.
