We recently unearthed a stash of these replacement switches for the Atari 7800 console. These are the switches for your Start, Select, Pause & Power buttons. They're not GOLD-plated but they are IP-67 rated - which means they are waterproof and resistant to moisture or dirt getting into the switch! Atari 5200 Rubber Boots are now available!! This has been one of our most requested items and here it finally is! BRAND NEW and made to the exact specs of the original Atari-made boot. This will fit perfectly into your Atari 5200 controller to replace a damaged, missing or worn boot. Please note, you will have to remove the 5200 joystick handle to replace the boot so you can grab one of our joystick removal tools with this boot or remove it some other way. They are tough to get off though. Second, the boot retaining clip will need to be removed to access the boot. They aren't difficult to remove but they are fragile. Use care when removing this ring as we do not currently have replacements available.

We tried to figure out something to GOLD plate on this part but realized that would be stupid so no GOLD was used in the production of this part yet we believe it is still the BEST 5200 joystick boot available - finally after 30+ years!
