We went to our first ever tournament yesterday at Brinkworth and what an amazing day it was. The whole team and their families really enjoyed it. Well done to everyone who attended

Yesterday the team had a fantastic time at Jump Inc and a trip to McDonald's with ofcourse a Mcfurry at the end! It was such a lovely day and even siblings and parents enjoyed it

Just want to say a massive well done to u14 team
Yesterday they played a play off promotion game and the game was 0-0 at half time. They then upped their game and ended up going 2 goals up. Score now 2 nil to blue nile. Aston pulled a goal back making it 2 1 the game was competitive however with roughly 16 minutes left blue nile player recieved a yellow card and sin bin for 10 bins for kicking the ball away. This resulted in blue nile playing with 10 men for 10 minutes. During this time Aston managed to score a few making it 4 2. The sin player was allowed back on with 4 minutes to go and blue nile made it 4 3. However the whistle went and we lost. The team tried their best with 10 men but it proved challenging and it cost us the game. Without that 10 minutes sin bin would have different result. The u14 team have worked so hard all season and deserved something however this is football and we go again next season!!

Blue nile cup final 2023

Absolutely amazing cup final today against Wombwell.

We were losing 2 nil and then bought it back to 2-1

Half time 2-1

We then brought it back to make it 2-2 and then we pushed and had plenty shots but we're just unlucky

Last minute of the game before extra time and Wombwell score.
Blue nile players state he was offside however the goal stood.

Either way both teams battled and both wanted it. Everyone played fantastic and the respect on and off the pitch from everyone was amazing!

Was an amazing game of football to finish of the season just very unlucky not to win it

against a team we also knocked out of the semi final and now in the FINAL OF THE CUP!!

Other team scored the first goal before us making it back level into half time

Second half they scored again roughly 10 minutes in us now losing 2 1 you kept your heads making it 2 - 2

Then before before we know it 3 - 2

Then 4 - 2

Absolutely smashing performance from all again pulled together as a team to get the much deserved win 🏆

We now prepare to play our Cup final next week!
