I'm putting the feelers out to get an idea of the level of interest in my life drawing sessions here at Sinsins. Some of you may know I was an artist prior to taking over the shop and one of my first plans was to hold life classes here.

My first class will be on a Wednesday evening once a month 6-9pm. Basic materials will be provided but best to bring your own sketchbook and tools. The poses will be long poses in a bo***ir style. Future classes will incorporate erotic and fe**sh elements. Photography not allowed, although the basement is hireable as a photographic space.

tea, coffee and other refreshments will be provided.

The introductory cost will be £7.50 payable in advance by cash or paypal which will cover the cost of the model. It is a small and intimate venue and will hold a maximum of 8 artists. Please send me a message to let me know if you'll be interested and with any questions.

I feel so blessed. This chalk and charcoal piece "Lost in Forever" just won the Riverside Art & Glass drawing show judged by Colin Self. I was up against some seriously amazing artists including the genius that is Peter Williams. I feel like I have to seriously up my game now. Thank you.

Day two of the art challenge. I'd like to nominate SharonStone Artpage to take part and post three works a day for five days and if possible finding artists to nominate along the way. Here are the three paintings I did for the Crowned Jewels website in 2009

Ok so I'm doing it! The rules on everyone's posts are a bit different, I guess because rules aren't for artists. I was nominated by Pauline Sharps Art to post three paintings a day for five days and to nominate others to do the same. There don't seem to be too many artists left but I haven't seen anything from Julie Nash Fine Artist and Tutor or Kos Kirbyson :: Artist and I'll keep looking for others. Here are some mask paintings. I know it's cheesy but I love those things! :)
