Did you ever lie in you life because you were afraid others would not accept you?

People frequently lie out of fear or embarrassment that they won't be accepted, but I learnt from that experience that revealing the truth is more humbling than lying since you can be yourself without lying. We are aware that lying is difficult because it is a bad deed or habit that everyone has. Let's learn right now that we always tell the truth and that we have a high level of honesty.

Integrity is the quality of being complete and having undivided moral soundness, where your life and your words are telling the same story, wouldn't it feel so good and fulfilling not to have to go on hiding ang lying forever?

Lying​—Why It Doesn’t Pay

School may present another challenge to honesty. Students often feel overloaded with homework. Cutthroat competition often exists. Why, in the United States, surveys show that more than half of all students cheat or have cheated. But while a lie may seem attractive, and cheating the easy way out, does it really pay to be dishonest?

Lying to escape punishment might seem advantageous at the time. But the Bible warns: “He that launches forth lies will not escape.” (Proverbs 19:5) The likelihood is great that the lie will be exposed and punishment meted out anyway. Then your parents will be angry not only because of your original transgression but also because of your lying to them.

What about cheating in school? Says a director of campus judicial programs: “Any student committing an act of academic dishonesty will run a serious risk of harming future educational and employment opportunities.”

True, many seem to be getting away with it. Cheating may very well get you that passing grade, but what are the long-range effects?
Lying​—Why It Doesn’t Pay

But what about cheating at math or reading? True, the results may not be quite as dramatic​—at first. If you have not developed basic academic skills, however, you may find yourself “sinking” in the job market. And a diploma obtained by cheating won’t be much of a life preserver. The Bible says: “The getting of treasures by a false tongue is an exhalation driven away.” (Proverbs 21:6) Any advantages a lie may bring are as short-lived as v***r. How much better it would be for you to buckle down and study, rather than to lie and cheat your way through school. “The plans of the diligent one surely make for advantage,” says Proverbs 21:5.

Speaking the truth is not always easy. But the one who makes a decision to tell the truth will maintain a good conscience, a good relationship with his real friends, and best of all, the privilege of being a “guest” in the tent of God. Honesty, then, is not only the best policy, it is the right policy for all Christians.

Integrity is a highly valued character define in the Bible that includes honesty, moral uprightness, and devotion to a firm set of beliefs and ideals. Integrity is often related with consistency and trustworthiness in one's acts and statements.
Maintaining one's integrity results in blessings, favor, and a stronger relationship with the Creator. The Bible emphasizes that integrity includes not only one's outward actions but also one's heart condition. Dishonesty and deception, on the other hand, are sharply denounced throughout the Bible. It urges Christians to be truthful and true in their interactions with others and to live in a way that pleases God.

Ang honest ay nagmula sa latin word na “Honestas” na kung saan ang ibigsabihin nito ay “marangal o iginagalang”. Makikita natin na mayroong mga Honesty Store sa Batanes, Philipines kung saan ang aim nito ay maipakita ang katapatan ng mga tao na kung saan ang store na ito ay isang self service kumbaga ikaw ay kukuha ng iyong nais na produkto at kung may sukli man sa ibinayad mo sa iyong produkto na nais ay ikaw na din ang mag susukli sa iyong sarili at take note dahil ang mga tindahan na ito ay walang mga bantay kaya sa mga tindahan pa lang na ganito ay naipapakita na ng mga tao ang kanilang pagiging marangal at katapatan sa kanilang lipunan.
