* 1 big onion - sliced
* 4 gloves garlic - minced
* 2 pcs tomatoes - sliced
* 2 tbsp fish sauce - ( adjust accordingly )
* 1 knorr pork cube
* 1/4 tsp ground pepper
* 1 bunch alugbati or ampalaya leaves
* 2 tbsp cooking oil
* 2 cups water for the soup
* 6 cups water for boiling mung beans

Easy Pork Mechado Recipe
Ingredients:
1/2 kg Pork liempo ( mechado cut)
15 pcs quail eggs
2 medium potatoes - cubed
1 cup tomato sauce (250g)
1 medium carrot - cubed
1 red bell pepper - cubed
1 green bell pepper - cubed
1/2 cup green peas
4 garlic - crushed
1 Onion - sliced
1 tbsp lemon or calamansi juice
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp fish sauce (patis)
2 pcs bay leaves
4 cups water ( add if needed )
salt and pepper - to taste
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp cooking oil
