As I grew in knowledge of myself as a white q***r person of trans experience, I never would have thought just how much of a teacher my q***rness would be for me. As much as being a q***r person lives at the core of my being, it also lives outside of me. It’s in our art, our music, our movement, our struggles, our triumphs… it’s in the way we talk to one another. This is community to me. And I’m constantly inspired by the q***rness around me. There is magic in the way we, who are able and privileged enough to be out, have shown up to create it. Again, I said it above… I love you. We are beautiful.

At the height of pandemic lockdown (April 2020) I quit my job for a year to fully practice my craft. I was terrified! But, I turned out over 60 songs- creating/recreating/destroying/collaborating. I am so overwhelmed by how my love for music production just keeps growing. It’s a profound love in my life. It meant so much to me to have had the advice, support and collaboration (big and small) of so many incredible people as I dove deeper into this beautiful journey.

Circa 2017 to my second of ongoing chest surgeries. I’ve had a really terrible time with my chest surgeries so far. I was desperate and ended up having my first surgery with someone I really shouldn’t have. I lost so much hope, money, confidence and yup, my ni***es! Hard to replace all these things tbh! But recently, regardless of all this crap, I’m kinda… feeling myself. 🤷♀️ And, l even kinda like my chest. So… !!
