The ocean. So cleansing. So powerful. My happy place. I spent New Years Eve and New Years day at the beach. Setting my intentions and getting my mind clear. Though I didn’t accomplish everything I wanted to in 2021, the silver lining is this- I received everything I prayed for. That I’d worked so hard for. I feel truly blessed and don’t want to take any bit of it for granted. We all can be so hard on ourselves felling pressure to always be the best, or live up expectations that aren’t even our own. I’m learning to do things with intention now. With purpose and care. To go at my own pace. Always looking for inspiration in life’s every little nook and cranny. Working a full time job, raising a pre-teen and juggling a business is hard work but I’m up for the challenge. I’m constantly dreaming. Conceptualizing. Reflecting on my past and then being met with my present SELF. It’s kinda wild….The journey in and of itself is wild.
I’m just scratching the surface. Still lots of layers to both shed and build. But I’m taking my time because I want to do it right. The most authentic way. Where there are no rules, except to only do what feels “me”. Sorry for my absence, but I never really left. Just making moves. Silently. I’ll be coming back around. 🤎🌙
