I absolutely love this comic! The love story between Hades and Persephone is one of the greatest of all time. Hades wanting Charon to act like a gondolier as they cruise the River Styx is an absolute riot.

A fission of terror ran down Psyche’s spine. She remembered the hatred in his eyes when he had pinned her down. She did not want to face that monster again. “So what do you suggest I do, then?”
“Go to the goddesses Demeter and Hera. See if one of them will give you sanctuary until you have safely delivered your child. You cannot keep running from those who mean you harm without endangering the little one. I would offer you sanctuary, but I fear for you, for when you deliver.” He chuckled ruefully. “I am the god of fertility, not of childbirth. I am afraid my skills are rather limited in that regard. I plow and seed the fields; I do not bring in the harvest.”
Psyche gave a watery chuckle at his pun. Plow and seed the fields, indeed. “What about Eros? How do I make amends?”
“Pray to him when you have found sanctuary. He will hear you. With a love like the one you two share, I doubt he will be able to resist you for long.”
Psyche sat back and nodded. “Your council is sound. I will do as you say. I will leave in the morning.”
Pan smiled at her. “Good. Now get some rest. I will bring you to Demeter’s temple in the morning.”
Pan watched as exhaustion took hold of the poor girl. When he was sure that she was sound asleep, he made his way to the entrance of the cave. Stepping out into the moonlight, he saw a figure lurking in the shadows.
“Is it done?”
“Yes. It is done.”
