During the event, a photograph was taken of the presentation of a portrait to Rabiu Salihu, an active member of KPU.

Kakanda Progressive Union-KPU (Lokoja Branch) paid a congratulatory visit to Lokoja LGA Caretaker Chairman.

Early this afternoon, Kakanda Progressive Union-KPU Lokoja Branch, led by Comr. Musa B. Shaba, paid a congratulatory visit to the caretaker chairman of Lokoja Local Government, Comrade Abdullahi Adamu, in his office.

During the visit, Comr. Musa B. Shaba prayed to almighty Allah to guide and protect the caretaker chairman in piloting the affairs of the local government.

The chairman, while thanking members for the visit, stated that the Kakanda people have also been supportive of him, and he acknowledged the peaceful coexistence and relationship between the Kakanda and Oworo people.

He pledged to work closely with us(KPU) to achieve development and progress in Kakanda communities during his time in office.

The occasion was so colorful that despite starting behind the schedule, everyone was so excited and amazed by this wonderful event.

The program was so educative that show case our cultural activities such as Royal dancing steps, Riddles, proverbs, names of things, lectures and awards

The program witness a lot of dignitaries which include the Head of kakandas in idah, the ETSU of Gori, the ETSU of buge, MF BoT chairman, Dr. Aminu Dan-madami of kakanda kingdom among others.

HRH, the Agankyu was presented with an award of Honour by KAkanda Progressive Union(KPU) memebers. The digital Shaba of kakanda kingdom, Dr. Jumai umaru sandah, Rt. Hon Yusuf Kogi state speaker and Garkuwa of kakanda, and Monimo foundation BoT chairman and WAZIRIN HASKEN KAKANDA was also presented an award of outstanding leadership by KPU.

The head of kakandas in idah Alh. USMAN Gimba who was appointed to head kakandas in idah by Atah igala, was commented for his commitment towards kakanda activities by HRH Agankyu and as such HRH Agankyu confirmed him and issued a certificate of kakanda traditional council as his(wokili) representative in idah and he was so excited for this wonderful recognition and recommendations.
