CONCERNED BENUE YOUTHS IN DIASPORA PRESENT PDP EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FORM AND NOMINATION FORMS TO DR. PAUL ORKUMA UBWA, CALL ON ELECTORATES TO SUPPORT HIS CANDIDATURE IN THE FORTHCOMING ELECTION

A Sociopolitical group under the aegis of Concerned Benue Youths In Diaspora have thrown their weight behind the Gubernatorial ambition of Dr. Paul Orkuma Ubwa, MD/CEO Pleasure Travels Group of Companies with the group purchasing Expression of Interest and Nomination form for the frontline Gubernatorial aspirant, as a sign of support to his ambition to govern Benue State in the forthcoming elections.

The group comprising of a membership drawn from different ethnic and political backgrounds in the state living in diaspora had paid for the forms to express their satisfaction at his performance in the private sector as well as philanthropic gestures to Benue people and so pledged their support to his ambition.

The MD/CEO of Pleasure Travels Group of Companies in his address told the gathering of party faithfuls and well wishers at his Campaign Office that he was in the race to contribute his quota to the development of the State, promising to do his best in their interest. Dr. Paul Orkuma Ubwa who was accompanied by his wife Mrs. Josephine Torkwase Ubwa first of all, thanked the group for finding him worthy of their support and promised not to fail Benue people if given the mandate. He restated his commitment to a united Benue people's project that will offer opportunities to youths and develop Benue State to enviable heights, with agriculture as a focus.

He further acknowledged efforts made by Gov. Samuel Ortom in the areas of security and infrastructure development and pledged to support his giant strides.

Responding, Hon. Philip Aanger appreciated the group for raising funds in the purchase the forms for Dr. Ubwa and pledged to do everything in their power to support him win the Governorship ticket in PDP and eventual take over of the State. He added that their conviction for supporting Dr. Paul Ubwa was based on his capacity to protect their interest and that of the Benue people, making them most convinced of his performance going forward. He cited employment opportunities offered to citizens of the state in Ugbechi Oil and Gas, Ugbechi Farms, Ugbechi Savings & Loans Thrift and Auto360 Mechanic Workshop as well as others and pledged to support him to do more for Benue people.
