Happy Youth Day! Today I went horse riding with a friend and then let my puppy Hansie have a play date with his friend, Frankie. They had lots of fun taking turns chasing each other.

Youth day reminds me how blessed and privileged I am to have adults in my life who care for me and who are teaching me new things like horse riding.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported Zululand Hospice Association by buying pink Rice Krispy treats from me. Together we managed to raise R1500.00 which I recently dropped off at Hospice. I was so surprised and happy to receive a thank you letter and certificate from them yesterday.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month! I didn't know this but my mom told me that my granny's sister had breast cancer when I was a baby and she fought it and overcame it and is healthy now.

To do my bit in the fight against cancer and to give support to Zululand Hospice I have been busy making these puffed rice marshmallow treats which I am selling for R10 each. All the money I make will go to Zululand Hospice on the 2nd November. Thank you to all those who have supported me. So far I have made R480. I hope to make R2000 by the time I take the money to Zululand Hospice!

I recently had such fun decorating a tree in a nearby park for the challenge. I walked away and later that day was so pleased to see everything had been taken. My mom also took me to a community centre so that I could donate clothes and books to the them. I know I am very blessed to have so much and it was an honour to give to those in need.

I will remember this week the next time I want something that I dont really need.

I just loved the lockdown 'homework' I received from Trelique Modelling agency last week. It was to care for my skin using any homemade face mask. I chose a honey mask. Honey is not only delicious but it also has many anti bacterial and healing qualities. I completed the pamper session with 2 slices of cucumber and a glass of lemon water. My brothers thought I was crazy but I felt fabulous!

Everybody needs chocolate cake! Especially the SAPS during lockdown!

I've been keeping very busy, helping my mum make face masks for disadvantaged communities during this coronavirus outbreak.
