Holistic Wellness Coaching

Wellness coaching was placed on my heart many years ago before it was even known as wellness coaching. I would listen to people share their goals, and I would often partner with them to create a plan, coaching and encouraging them along the way. Several years ago, I decided to take this more seriously and obtained my Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a dual concentration in Wellness & Fitness and Wellness Coaching. I am also a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Program and am currently attending their Coaching Intensive Practicum, as I prepare to sit for the National Board of Health and Wellness Coach’s certification exam in the fall.

In my practice, we look at wellness in a holistic manner.....think body, mind and soul. Physical wellness is connected to mental/emotional wellness, which is connected to social and environmental wellness, spiritual wellness and financial wellness, for example. Being off balance in one area will affect other areas. We consider stress levels, amount/quality of sleep, health of relationships, consumption of caffeine; it is all interrelated.
