In this writing, the Preacher wishes to expound on the universal shift, the path events are taking premised on the prophetic move of God in the nations in 2021 and the coming years.

In a perilous jungle, predator cats such as lions are able to track, pounce on and kill prey by picking the SCENT of the prey that has come in their direction. Similarly, by scent picking of intruders, a rhino or buffalo prepare for defence or aggression responses. A male dog can pick the scent of a bitch in heat miles away. Lastly, the smell or fragrance of a garden from its garden flowers spreads when the wind blows through the garden.

The Preacher in Songs of Solomon 4 verse 14 draws a garden pictorial analogy that communicates a prophetic perspective.

"Awake Northwind ,Come O south blow on my garden that its fragrance my be spread everywhere "

Note the following facts from the scripture above

1. Israel is the garden from where the present-day Christian fragrance emanated, the birthplace of the Christian Movement and the place of nativity of Jesus Christ, the saviour of mankind. It is said in Genesis 2 verse 8.

"God planted a garden in East ..."

In the larger prophetic picture it's symbolic of Israel, the Lord's garden in the Middle East. The prophet Daniel calls it the Beautiful Land, Holy Land, the Pleasant Land.

2. The Northwind represents the Holy Spirit who came as the Wind on the day of Pentecost to begin the world Revival.Acts2v2"there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing Mightywind.

Why named the North Wind? The wind is named after the direction it is coming from and North represents Heaven. Let the reader recall that in his heaven ascension bid, Satan said "I will ascend into heaven, I will sit also in the sides of the North Isaiah 14.13.In short, the Wind represents the supernatural

3. And what's the fragrance of the garden? It is knowing Jesus Christ and every good thing that exudes from him of which eternal life is the chief.

"Who through us spreads the fragrance of his knowledge everywhere " 2 Corinthians 2.14

Here Is The Exposition:

There are two things factors among others that determine the spreading of ascent:

1. Movement in the object carrying the scent.
2. The Wind Movement.

The past, present and future fragrance of the Christian movement worldwide began to spread from Jerusalem, then Judea then to all continents when the Wind blew on the garden upon the 120 people in the upper room who are the nucleus through which Christian world revival was ignited

2021 and The Coming Years: Listen To This:
1. Every person has been adorned with a unique scent be it in gift or ability.

Every gifted person needs two things to have their scent spread and be picked everywhere 1)The wind that blows the scent i:e the involvement of the supernatural.

Many understand this phenomenon the wrong turn is that many times people tap into and invoke wrong supernatural energies with later regrets for Satan has no free gifts. At this point, the writer wishes to present the right seat of supernatural belief, Jesus Christ the God who became man.

Through faith in him, all things are possible and it's his him, and him alone who gives genuine blessings that makes him rich and he adds no sorrow to it.

2. There has to be movement/motion in the object carrying the scent. Being gifted alone is not enough one has to be deliberate about their actions to do something aligned to one set purpose.

The Preacher implores the reader to believe in the power of the supernatural. If not in motion already to begin to or prepare to move. Movement is in the Air.

Areas of influences have to spread.

Gifts and abilities have to move to places of blossoming.

Stars have to move to the right places of exuding light.

Be it individual or corporate movement, be prepared to move and cooperate with the supernatural, the SCENT of the Garden is spreading everywhere.

2021 and The Coming Years - I Have Never Done This Before!!!!

Greetings sisters and brothers welcome into 2021 and Happy New year.

It is without a doubt that we are coming out of a difficult year unprecedented for the past many decades yet God has preserved many of us today
Sadly we find ourselves having close casualties of the pandemic and other tragedies, be it friends and relatives. Peace be still

The writer wishes to share a prophetic perspective not narrowed to 2021 only but also the trajectory(path) events will take henceforth and in the coming years. Understanding the times will then help us to know what to do. Enjoy reading!

Let us take a look at a prophetic case study on Israel

The Facts:

Israel today stands as the most powerful military entity in the Middle East.

Israel stands as a world leader in agricultural technology with its agricultural resolutions adopted at UN level. This means Israeli agricultural technology that includes precision agriculture, soilless agriculture and manufacture of water out of the air is now imported into many nations, including Africa and Egypt the nation of its nativity (history of its birth)

Delving into Israel's history according to the biblical narratives, it's crystal clear that at sundry times the Israelites when faced with the harsh realities of the desert in the transitional exodus to the land that is now officially theirs, wanted and attempted to return back to Egypt reminiscing of the old way of life. This is what they were heard saying to Moses

"We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no cost also the cucumbers melons leeks onions and garlic"
"Let us choose a leader and return back to Egypt" Numbers 14:4

The cucumbers leeks melons, garlic mentioned above were the agric produce of the rudimentary Egyptian agric methods involving countless journeys by the Israelites of fetching water from the river Nile. This past is now incomparable to the great agric tech Israel now gives the world

Here is the prophetic shift.

For years the Jews nursed the residue of their past, the residue of Egypt the residue of their nativity typical of most nations today. In Mozambique, one frequently hears Bom dia Bom dia, Come voce esta the Portuguese residue of the colonial past, similarly the former British colonies exhibit British residue in their way of life i.e. language, dressing and also co-dependence.

2021 and the coming years

We are here and there is a shift from the residue of the nativity to the realisation of the potential that God has placed in individuals and nations. As Israel managed to outgrow the limitations of its nativity, years of relentless Islamic onslaught and hostilities and a threat to their entire existence as a nation by the genocide acts of Hi**er, it is high time that we outgrow the limitations of nativity either as nations or individuals.

Because of this shift, the reader ought to prepare and be deliberate to

1. Do what they have never done before because the power to achieve is in us. John 7:15

2. Events will happen which has never happened before

3. There will be troublous times, some will fall along the way yet many shall prosper in troublous times (refer to the Preacher's previous post)

Israel rose by determination and prophecy

" I have made him your lord (leader)his brethren have I given him for his servants(confirmed a world leader)" Genesis 27:37

It is time to outgrow the limitations of our nativity and express what God has put in us as nations and as individuals. Yet for this to happen we have to do what we have never done before in pursuit of our dreams and visions. A dream, vision or prophetic message requires one to take a deliberate decision and action to do something new against the limitations of the past.

2021 and the coming years there is a shift, many are emerging out of nativity. The past is no tag for the future.

Give It All Your Best!

Hit it with a big stick.

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom" Ecclesiastes 9:10

Every life given by the Supreme life-giver becomes best before at death. It follows then that a life given in time is the precious resource one has to make the best out of it. Each human being is given time and chance to give it all their best, to hit with a big stick (Time and chance happen to all.)

It is required of us then to do the best in all things we do. There is no success that has come from half-heartedness, lethargy (lack of energy and enthusiasm) or perfunctory(without real interest, feeling or effort) handling of any assignment, one has to put all their heart and all their might (energy ) to it. The reason why we are required to love The Supreme Being with all our hearts and might it because where one puts his heart to, his might (energies) goes towards the same.

For where your heart is there your treasure is.

Whilst there are weakening and wearisome forces that seek to intercept and siphon positive energy out of us, in form of discouragements frustration despondency and the like, the exhortation from the book is not to be weary in doing good even if one is weary, there is an assurance of a Second Wind coming.

A new burst of energy when one is tired because God gives strength to the weary and increases the strength of the weak.

Every seasoned sportsman, be it an athlete or boxer knows of this Second Wind phenomenon, the renewed energy when one is weary to not only finish the race but finish strong.

With all might let us plan now, let us work now, express our knowledge now, express our wisdom now, express our gifts talents and abilities.

To one who has been wearied by a myriad of heartbreaks, the writer wishes to give an assurance of A Second Wind, a new burst of energy to give the best with all might every good work has its reward in due season.

May God bless our efforts for personal success as we put all our heart and might even as we serve God cognizant of the truth that each one of us will give an account of oneself.

Is Life Without Challenges Possible? - Honey Out Of A Lion!

Last week Saturday, I managed to run a gruesome, tough terrain race, the Vumba mountain race. Having finished it, my mind went on thinking of the next challenge race because by nature am now programmed to anticipate the next challenge.

Is life without challenges possible? Is the Preacher's thought-provoking question.

A young man who grew up under harsh conditions in the dormitory town of Chitungwiza thought his challenge was only school and university fees, till he faced challenges getting a job and incessant battles to keep that job and getting promotion,besides temptations attracted to success

Why is that almost constantly there is always a battle, to go the next success level, next breakthrough next achievement, next milestone more prevalent in the Afrocentric environment yet true everywhere.

Talking of the Jews, they had a 400-year harsh stay under oppression in Egypt before coming to their own land Israel which had to be taken through fights till today the fights of the Middle East still make headlines to keep their land

God intended man to have a challenge-free life portrayed in the Edenic precedence, yet that privilege was forfeited when man sinned. The Apostle Paul notes that when there is a door (opportunity), there is always adversaries (challenges) militating against that door 1 Corinthians 16:9

Whilst a challenge-free life is not possible yet we have the resources and the will power to overcome challenges. We must not cower when there are threats to our destinies and visions but we must know that no height cannot be climbed, man have been to the peak of Mr Everest.

Focus on the victory over challenges - The honey out of the lion!
Speaking of the challenges (socio, economic, political etc) of my motherland Zimbabwe, regardless of their nature and origin they will be overcome. Let us have the will power, faith and work through them. We can make it!

All things are possible to those who believe and in all things, we are more than overcomers through Christ who gives us the strength to overcome challenges

In our running circles, it is told of a top athlete who won a race and got a hefty prize published on public media viewed by many including the wife.

The runner spent the prize money in a vagabond style with harlots and presented a small paltry change to the wife back home similar to the Ananias and Saphira style. In retaliation, the wife took an axe and chopped the athlete's leg and that was the end of a running career and a tremendous running gift

From the book of Proverbs 18:16 ... It's clear that it's through a gift that one is ushered before great men and great platforms. Each and every one of us has a gift be in its arts, leadership, church-related gifts, public speaking, gatekeeping influence or great thinkers, great innovators etc that will potentially project us to great places.

Yet it's is imperative to take proper care of a gift, cultivate it and guard it jealously.

History and the media is awash with examples of gifted people who ended up being paupers when their gifts were intercepted by destiny killers s*x, drugs, fame, pride eg gifted boxer Mike Tyson.

We can talk of top gifted golfer Tiger Woods thank God for his come back, yet it's not everyone who can have the opportunity of a gift come back like the runner I alluded to earlier.

Realise, develop, cherish and guard your gift!

Paul exhorts Timothy to fan into flame the gift. 2 Timothy 1:6.

This, in essence, means a gift is given as a small ember which needs fanning (developing)into a flame. Work on your gift to greatness. Being gifted alone is not enough but there is a need to develop your gift to greatness, in the end, it will pay.

A Good Name!

Growing up in my formative years, I was excited learning about great names and the feats that's made them great imparted to my growing brain.

The likes of Tshaka the Zulu King of the cow horn formation battle strategy, philanthropist and telecoms mogul Strive Masiyiwa, mother Theresa, respected church founder and Christian leader Archbishop Ezekial Handinawangu Guti.

Drawing from a good example of all time good name models it need be known that a great name alone is not enough but what this generation need is a great and a good name. We have a plethora of great names, which are not necessarily good names. One can have a great name because of prowess in a certain area say music, ministry, politics yet it might not be a good name.

One can have a great name turned a bad name. A biblical example is learnt from the one who is the embodiment of all evil and bad things, Satan:- scripture describes him as great "the one in you (Jesus)" is greater than the one in the world(Satan)".The relative term greater means the other is great (Great , greater, greatest).Rev12 "Great Dragon ", yet he is not a good name. History and the present is replete with great yet not good names the likes of the all-time enemy of the Jews, Adolf Hi**er great in wrong reasons

In Jewish history, the anointing oil to anoint priests, or kings was actually a perfume, yet the Preacher says.

"A good name is better than fine perfume" Ecclesiastes 7:1 because the smell of perfume is not permanent.

It's not about being anointed only, great exploits, or great charisma or being known but a good name constitutes in all fragrance of good positive influence

In pursuit of greatness in building great names let us not forget that it has to be a good name too that can be passed to our families, nations and generations with a good, memory. Many a times character flaws, lack of integrity impede great names from becoming good names. In all areas of our destiny pursuits business ministry, public office bearing let's always remember a great name alone is not enough. It has to be a full complement of a great and good name

The making of a great name is not easy, and a good name is not any easier yet it's of more value

A great name alone goes down in the demise of its owner, yet a good great name lives beyond its owner

There is greatness on the horizon emerging from beyond the rivers of Ethiopia(Africa).

The Completion Of A Cycle: Preparing For Shifts, Transitions and Change Overs

It is three and a half months before the year 2019 ends and then comes 2020. Earlier this year I shared a post on unveiling the year 2019 and the cycle of 120 years.

Let me reiterate even now that in the remaining three and a half months, there shall be significant shifts, transitions and changeovers in nations and people's lives because God works in cycles. A cycle of 120 years is being completed from the year 1900. A cycle that saw milestone events that have impacted world history like the rebirth of Israel (1948), Azusa street Revival in church history (1906), the discovery of the internet and the worldwide wide web (WWW) and the emergence of African economic and power hubs.

In Deuteronomy 31:2 a Moses cycle of 120 years with all its exploits is completed yet his name remains to this day.

"I am 120 years old this day; I can no more go out and come in" and then came the Joshua new cycle.

It follows then that the present cycle of 120 years is being completed and a new next circle is opening up. A cycle is coming and let us prepare for shifts, transitions and changeovers. What this means is that God is raising new players for the possessing of the promises of God in all spheres.

With all due respect to the players of the past and current wave and cycle, who have opened up uncharted space, yet a new cycle is on the horizon. Therefore let us have the impetus (driving force within) to be active players in areas of our passions and callings excelling in them, not relegating ourselves to spectators of a game which we are supposed to play

Have your skin in the game and be counted!

Have a presence in areas of your persuasion.

We are the custodians and players of the next wave, the next cycle birthing the next invention, the next writers, the next history makers, the next world leaders and pace setters. From the words of the Preacher "Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your mighty".Do ministry with all your might, start businesses, write books, champion a worthy cause etc

As the Manyika people would assertively profess "Tisu anhu acho." We are the people"We have been made stewards of the next wave, the next cycle let us prove faithful and competent.

Help me celebrate another year given to me.
I thank God for the gift of life.
