Gjeravica Peak (maja e Gjeravices), Kosovo’s highest peak, is located in the Western part of the country near the Albanian border.
At an unconfirmed altitude of 2,656 meters (8,714 feet), it is considered as the highest peak in the Bjeshkët e Nemuna (Accursed Mountains).

The town of Trpejca on Lake Ohrid has earned the nickname of the Macedonian Saint-Tropez as tourists have increasingly set their sights on visiting this tiny yet glamorous former fishing village. While here, you can indulge in swimming, snorkeling, boating, and soaking up the sun on the shore. It has a reputation as having the cleanest swimming water on the lake.

Ulpiana Antic City is believed to have been founded at the beginning of the second century BC, and it has flourished during the third and fourth century.
It is supposed that it covered an area of more than 1000 kilometers and it was located quite close to the rich mining.

Bar represents a modern town that is expanding every day. Although it is a port town, it is amazingly clean and has many developed green areas. The old town of Bar, Haj Nehaj Fortress, with the remnants from the 15 th century fortress and the castle of King Nikola, represent the historic and cultural monuments of this town. There’s an Old Olive Tree that is more than 2000 years old and Skadar lake, with one of the biggest habitats of birds.

Dojran Lake is a lake with an area of 43.1 km² shared between North Macedonia and Greece. The lake has a rounded shape, a maximum depth of 10 m and a north-to-south length of 8.9 km and is 7.1 km at its widest, making it the third largest lake partially in North Macedonia. The lake was on the southern line of the Macedonian front during World War I, and its southern shore became the site of the various battles between allied troops and Bulgarian troops in 1916, 1917 and 1918. A monument to one of the battles and two cemeteries for Greek and British troops stand on a hill a few hundred metres south of the lake.

Bounded by the forested Petka hills on one side and the crest of Babin K*k on the other, Lapad Bay is a busy string of pebble beaches, beachfront hotels and pedestrianised promenades. There are plenty of diversions here, both in and out of the water, including a kids playgrounds and lots of cafes and bars.

Have you ever heard about Bear Sanctuary?
In a remote, forested spot beyond the village of Mramor, this sanctuary houses European brown bears that were rescued from captivity by the charity Four Paws. All the bears here were once kept in tiny cages as restaurant mascots, so although they're hardly out free in the wilderness.

Vlora is situated in a beautiful location, in the front of the Karaburun peninsula and Sazan
Island and surrounded by beaches and rocky sand.
The city carries historical importance to Albania as it hosted the First National Assembly, which declared the country’s independence from Ottoman rule on November 28th, 1912. On the top of the hill overlooking the city is the religious point of Kuzum Baba. Vlora is the starting point of the Albanian Riviera and is one of the most frequented areas of Albanian “Sun and Sea” tourism. Located in this region are the Orikum and Amantia archaeological parks, and the Llogara National Park.

Marble cave is a cave made of marble cliffs formed by the metamorphosis of limestone. The cave is 1260 meters long, while the tourist path is around 500 meters long. Ornaments are in different colours, ranging from aragonite white crystal to red, with all shades in between these two contrasting colours.
It is said that it takes 3000 years for 1 mm of it to grow!

Devastated by the Goths in the late V century, and hit by the earthquake thirty years later, Duklja, in difference to Medun did not grow into a medieval, and by that into a modern settlement. As a big lodgment of the Illyrian tribe Dokleati, under Romans it grew into the most advanced town of present Montenegro. This area was named by it, Dioklitije.

Debar is a city in the western part of Macedonia. Across the city of Debar, the main road Via Egnatia passed. At that time the city included all the provinces on both sides of the middle course of Crni Drim - from Struga to Prizren, from Tirana to Kicevo and from Elbasan to Gostivar. All that attached great importance to the ecnomic centre on the western side of the Balkan Peninsula.

The national park Lovcen covers the central and the highest part of the mountain Lovcen and with total area of 62.2 square kilometres. Established in 1952, Lovcen is also full of the rich historical, cultural and architectural heritage protected by the national park. The area has numerous elements of national construction such as the old houses and village guvna. The cottages inkatuns, summer settlements of cattle breeders are also typical for this part of Montenegro.

Badovc Lake is a lake situated in the Gollak Mountains, in the south-east of Prishtina. The lake has an area of 2.57 km². It is used as one of the main sources of water for the territory of Prishtina. Because of its surrounding picturesque environment, it has become a popular touristic destination during spring and summer.
