Many Christians have been praying for Ukraine as that nation faces the onslaught of a massive Russian invading force. I am calling upon all Open Bible churches to join together in special prayer this Sunday, March 6, for Ukraine. We will all unite in focused prayer.
We pray for:
• Protection for our Open Bible churches and their pastors, and for all Christian ministries and people in Ukraine.
• The courageous leaders of Ukraine, who are targets for removal, imprisonment, or death.
• The Ukrainian military, under severe pressure and threat of life from a formidable invading army.
• The people of Ukraine who are facing a possible radical restriction of freedom under Russian control.
• President Joe Biden, his administration, and Congress, for wisdom and unity in response to Russia’s audacious assault on Ukraine.
• The leaders of European nations, that they would demonstrate courage and wisdom in confronting Russian forces.
• Vladimir Putin, the Russian president responsible for this war, that God would touch his heart or, if Putin does not respond, that God would bring him to defeat, both abroad and at home.
• For a fresh move of the Holy Spirit in the face of war and threat of life in Ukraine.
Thank you for uniting with all other Open Bible churches on March 6 as we join in concerted prayer for Ukraine.
