We are calling for help to support and provide assistance to our fellow brothers and sisters that were greatly affected by the recent Typhoon Egay in Region 1.
As this project is urgent and time-sensitive, we are requesting for immediate cascade and ex*****on in your respective areas.

Please see below details of the project:
1. Section Officers to mobilize all alumni associations within their respective areas for a call-for-help.
2. Donations can be monetary or in-kind.
a. Cash donations will be transferred to the Regional Treasurer using the account details below:

• Canned goods • Instant Noodles • Rice • Used clothes • Baby diapers • Toiletries
3. Donations should be sorted prior to drop off and will be sent directly to NAO. Section officers may opt to collect in-kind donations in a centralized area within their section prior to sending it directly to NAO. Kindly place labels on your donations (Ex: From Region 4A - Section 1 Batangas).

Please start mobilizing your respective teams. We are targeting to send our monetary donations on or before August 5, 2023.

We are making history through legendary projects!

After the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Municipal Mayor Gaudioso R. Manalo, Local Government Unit (LGU) and Municipal Environment and Resources Office (MENRO) Officer Jerry Gusto last January 10th, the federation agreed to have the first tree planting activity in celebration of our 72nd National Anniversary every March 2nd.

The first "Plant a Tree, Save the Earth" Mangrove Tree Planting Activity was completed last February 27, 2022 in Mangrove Forest, Brgy. Lagadlarin, Lobo, Batangas.

The successful event was led by Alpha Phi Omega Ala Eh Federation and APO Region 4A Section 1 (Batangas) together with sixteen (16) alumni associations in Batangas and Laguna, Philippine Coast Guard and brothers in Scout Royale Brotherhood (SRB). 266 seedlings were planted and the event was well-attended by 79 total participants from the following alumni associations/groups:

With the right timing that this activity was finalized, our teams were able to quickly coordinate with the LGU to also conduct the call for a synchronized clean-up drive by the APO National Office on the same date and the same venue, also in celebration of the National Anniversary.

The program started 9am and concluded at 11:30am with lunch spent together before fellowship. Our activity was graced by our APO Region 4A Regional Director Charlie "Tsack" Canada who also gave an opening remarks as part of the program and Deputy Regional Direction Jose Magno Fortune closing the event with his remarks and congratulatory message.

In behalf of the APO Ala Eh Federation Officers through the leadership of President Brother Dr. Rafael "Paeng" Baculi, our Section 1 Chairman Brother Warren Forbes, officers of the federation, the section and the region, we would like to congratulate and thank everyone for the huge success of this event!

APO REGION 4A - Section 1 Batangas and APO Ala Eh Federation will be having our Mangrove Tree Planting Activity and Coastal Clean Up on February 27th, from 8am to 12pm.

"Plant a Tree, Save the Earth" is the first major and sustainable project of APO Ala Eh Federation upon its charter last November 2021. We have formally adopted specific area in the Mangrove Forest in Brgy. Lagadlarin, Lobo, Batangas to conduct at least semi-annual tree planting activity participated by all alumni/chapters in Batangas.

Also, with the call of our National Office's EnviCom nationwide service project in line with oir 72nd National Anniversary, we will be having our Coastal Clean Up in the shores of Lobo, Batangas on the same date.

Congratulations to our Service Project Chair Sister in Alpha Phi Omega and incumbent President of Rotary Club of Mataas na Kahoy, CARMENCITA " MENCHU" GARDIOLA for a successful Free Operation Tuli Service conducted last February 19th, Saturday, in Woodheights, Brgy. Calitangan, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas.

This service activity will not be possible without the support and help of our partners and donors:

We started the activity at 9AM with our initial registrants of 200 kids. There were several walk-in kids in the afternoon and we had completed circumcision of 240 kids in total by 7:40PM.

This activity is thru the initiative of our Sister in Alpha Phi Omega and incumbent President of Rotary Club of Mataas na Kahoy, CARMENCITA " MENCHU" GARDIOLA. The service will be held in Woodheights, Brgy. Calitangan, Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas.

Update on Brod Theody's wife:
1. Angiograohy completed last week.
2. Doctor Consultation done Tuesday this week.
3. Doctor's direction is for operation as soon as possible. Seek Neurosurgeon's advise. This is already an ongoing action by Bro Theody.
4. Approach on operation is TBD, will be dependent on Neuro's advise if clip or coil.
5. More updates to share soon.

Guidelines for Mr. and Ms. APO

1. All participants must be full-fledged members of Alpha Phi Omega and ID holders, that under the current development year.

2. Everyone shall fall under the age bracket of 20-40 years old.

3. They must be members of good standing and shall come from chapters with no delinquencies.

4. No minimum height requirement is imposed.

5. There shall only be one pair of representatives from every administrative region.

6. The entire competition is divided into 7 categories:

A. Production Number
B. Regional Costume
C. Announcement of Top 10
D. Preliminary Q&A
E. Evening Gown
F. Announcement of Top 5
G. Final Q&A

7. Top 10 qualifiers will be chosen from the candidates' performance in the preliminary competitions.

8. From the top 10, each will be asked questions, alongside the judging of evening gown competition which would form part of the candidates' scores for the selection of top 5 finalists.

9. In the final round, the finalists will be asked of the same question and this will determine the runners-up and our Mr. and Ms. APO 2022.

10. The criteria for judging are as follows:

Beauty and Posture 30%
Intelligence and Wit 40%
Costume, Personality, Character 20%
Audience Impact 10%

11. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable.

Day 2 - Operation Tuli was conducted last January 9th at Bulacnin Elementary School
Thru the efforts of Hon. Bro Porfirio Elmer M. Reyes “YesMan” and Hon. Carlo Latayan and in collaboration with Delta Kappa.

The service activity completed 125 circumsisions.

Congratulations, APO NI MALVAR Alumni Association No. 179 for a successful Day 1 Operation Tuli Service Activity last January 8th!

This activity was a collaboration of APO NI MALVAR AA no 179 and Delta Kappa and thru the efforts of Hon. Nova Victoria Diokno Ortega and Hon. Armando Maralit.

The team was able to complete circumcision of 223 kids in Victoria Place, Balete, Batangas.

Legendary Project - UNLOCKED! 🌳🌳🌳

"Plant a Tree, Save the Earth" is the first major and sustainable project of APO Ala Eh Federation upon its charter last November 2021. Together with APO Region 4A Section 1 - Batangas, the project adopts a specific area in the Mangrove Forest in Brgy. Lagadlarin, Lobo, Batangas and conduct at least semi-annual tree planting activity participated by all alumni/chapters in Batangas.

APO Ala Eh Federation and APO Region 4A -Section 1 - Batangas Leadership and members joins the Municipality of Lobo's aim to intensify programs on reforestation on mangrove for the benefits of extending the area for mangrove forest located at Brgy Lagadlarin.

Both parties entered and signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today, January 10, 2022 for a structured long-term project having the same goals towards sustainable environmental service to the community and the nation.

Signatory of Municipality of Lobo is Mayor Gaudioso Manalo and for APO Ala Eh Federation Brother President Dr. Rafael Baculi.

APO Rosario Batangas Alumni Association (APO RoBAA) sends students of Natu Elementary school on holidays with happy hearts!

Though just formally formed, the youngest alumni association in Batangas, APO RoBAA completed their Feeding and Gift Giving Service today, December 17th in Natu Elementary School. They were able to complete a meaningful program and distributed Jollibee food packs Christmas gifts to these students!

These services were in line with series of community projects of the alumni Association with our 96th International Founding Anniversary.

Congratulations, APO TANAUAN AA #293! Anniversary Service done!

Gift giving and feeding program completed today, in celebration of our 96th International founding anniversary!

We were able to distribute gift packs and food to all lolas and care givers of Sta Ana-San Joaquin Bahay Ampunan Fdn Inc last December 15th. Though very restricted, with limited interactions, allowed only on visits with limited visitors and ample distance, we were able to complete our simple celebration with cheer and happy hearts!

We were also able to post our anniversary tarpaulins donated by our City Mayor Sweet Halili on these locations:

Jam-packed, back-to-back services done, congratulations APO Western Batangas Alumni Association (APO WEB AA) AND Batangas State University Arasof!

Last December 15th, our brothers and sisters in the western part of the province were able to successfully complete two services in one day!

The Coastal Clean Up service activity was done in Brgy. Bucana, Nasugbu, Batangas. Couple of hours after with hearts hungry for service, they were able to complete their outreach mission in Gawad Kalinga (GK) Village in Brgy. WAWA, Nasugbu, Batangas. Our bretheren were able to provide gifts to over 50 kids in the village for a wonderful holiday celebration!

These services were in line with series of community projects of both the chapter and alumni Association with our 96th International Founding Anniversary.

Congratulations, APO Sto. Tomas Batangas Alumni Association, APO Lambda Beta AA (petitioning) and APO TANAUAN AA #293 for last Sunday's River Clean Up Drive!

This activity was also participated by our brothers and sisters in Service, 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐑𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐑𝐁 - 𝐄𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐎𝐍 𝐏𝐈 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑. This activity was held in Talon, San Vicente, Sto. Tomas, Batangas last December 12th.

These services were in line with series of community projects of all Alumni Associations with our 96th International Founding Anniversary.

Congratulations APO NI MALVAR Alumni Association No. 179 and APO Lipa Alumni Association 156 for a successful blood letting/donation activity!

Both alumni associations had a successful blood donation activity on different venues last December 14th in partnership with Philippine Red Cross.

This activity aims to provide relevant and significant contribution to the community of Malvar and Lipa respectively on which both alumni associations were based.

As these services were in line with series of community projects of both alumni Association with our 96th International Founding Anniverswry, this service activity was also part of APO Lipa AA's acitivity for their 18th Charter Installation celebration.
