We had some requests to put out the dub mix of TenVen remix of Together Forever... so here it is! In all it's italo synthy glory.

I did a kind of weird and wonderful bootleg remix mashup thing of Visage - Fade to Grey with Billie Ray Martin - Your Loving Arms. For the backing I completely reconstructed Fade to Grey with original parts and synths, Roland CR78, Roland Juno 60, Solina String Ensemble and ARP2600 and chucked in some LINN Drum just because it suits it.

El Soltano on Friday was another sold out, mental night. Thank you all!!!! It was packed and sweaty. There was performances, there was screaming, there was drag, we tried for a dance circle but the crowd wouldn’t let us because they were dancing too much. 😂 Thank you so much to the performers the beautiful Kunixi and incredible Ezekiel and to Nebari and EL SÓTANO. To Mappy for looking so fine and everyone dancing so much.

AND IT’S OUT! My debut album as Daddy Squad, this is a collection of the more clubby side of the project. There’s remixes on there, there’s the club edits, think of it as Midnight Versions. Most tracks have been released in the last six months, and there’s a new version of my collab with Hard Ton, plus the new single Together Forever, and some other surprises. Thanks to all the collaborators and remixers and guests Eric Szmanda, Dita Von Teese, MARK MOORE / S'EXPRESS, Zoot Woman, Lauer, Chinaski / S-F-X, and Hard Ton. This has been such a joyful ride with Daddy Squad project, and I thank you guys so much for being here with me on it. I’ve had a ball feeling free, inspired and creative in this project. Thanks also to my boyfriend Kuni for being so supportive and encouraging, picking me up when I have a creative meltdown, taking me out for ice cream when I have a small win, as well as joining me on shows around the world with his C**o International. This is just the start of this project, and I’m already working on new material, but for the moment I give you All Day All Night Automatic for your listening and dancing pleasure, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it for you. Any time I want to know how to do something, from how to make scripted metallic fonts to how Fred Again gets his vocal compression, to why does my laptop show a weird error message, there’s a YouTube tutorial on it. I love that, it’s an incredible resource and honestly I think a lot of people don’t use it enough. Morning musings….

It’s Friday so that means there’s a new track out! The Constellations of JuJu. This one is a psychedelic synth odyssey with a sci fi sample at the end (can you pick where from?). I wrote it with ages ago, almost got on the Ready Player One sound track, and I brushed off, worked it all through the analogue synths and here it is for your listening pleasure. Enjoy the journey. 🎹 😘

One year today, no alcohol.
My only regret is that I didn’t do it ten years ago!
In Spain it’s not so common to give alcohol the boot, but it’s surprisingly easy. I’m super happy on a terrace drinking Vichi Catalan while my friends drink. Even though it’s a drinking culture, as long as they have a drink in front of them, they don’t care that I don’t. And clubs and festivals it’s even easier since there’s so much going on. I definitely enjoy going out more now, and go out more often since I don’t have to factor in a hangover the next day.
