Day 97 to Day 100, Feb 8 to Feb 10 2021
"Mission Accomplished"
Finally !!! Successfully completed 100 transformation days ending up in 63 kgs. 🤩😀✌
From almost 70 kgs to 63 kgs😃😄🤗
Highlights:
Improved my stamina and energy level
Toned my body shape
Dedication towards workout
Learnt few more Abs exercises
Yoga practices
Love for nature and walk
All these 100 days are going to be part of a wonderful memory. This has definitely improved my confidence and knowledge on what to eat and what not to.
I have just re-designed my routine.
I wont tell it was easy but it was neither too tough. Without hitting gym, without GM and intermittent and other diets, oh yes ! We can achieve it.
2 of my page followers are already losing kgs and kgs 😉😁 I am glad that i have inspired them.
People have sent me so much positivity and good words and love to make me feel flying. Thank you to all those lovely people.
With all the big smile, i am closing this 100 days of challenge and will continue putting some efforts to spread the necessity of workouts/exercises. Looking forward to bring changes in all our lives.
Day 92 to 96, Feb 2 to Feb 6 2021
Happiness is when you know that you are about to reach the destination successfully!!
So my last few days , i was completely busy again and almost tried to manage my workout routine.
Walking and trekking was regular and home workouts was partial.
Soups and juices are still going on !!
Transformation is almost getting completed physically and mentally!! I am enjoying these days and feeling more confident and enthusiastic.
To add it, my new trainee whom i mentioned as anonymous has lost 7 kgs in last 1 and half month ✌
What more is required to feel proud !!!
Day 91, Feb 1 2021
"New try!!"
So i am planning to take a vegetable soup or juice part of my diet for next 10 days, as any 1 time meal. Will try to cover up maximum on day to day basis, if i dont find time, i will post it like summary.
Today i took a cardio walk as usual.
Meals:
1st meal - pumpkin soup
2nd meal - fruits
3rd meal - chapati, curry
4th meal - dragon fruit juice
5th meal - buttermilk
6th meal - veg briyani little (couldn't control my temper to eat it ; tastebuds 😜)
Day 84 to Day 90, Jan 24 to Jan 31 2021
It ended of just like that!! Time flied.. Last 1 week was a hectic schedule for me and the coming days are going to be same. I am not sure how perfect it is going to go, but I am trying my best to be on the line.
I failed to capture all my workouts and diets but i succeeded in reducing 2 more kgs. Falled down to 65 kgs!!!!
My strengthening is going in a very good progress as of now. I can feel my energy level to be high and the drops are easily taken care by sleep.
I have so many-many to write, but lack of time. I am looking forward to close this challenge in a better way.
Day 83, Jan-23-2021

It was my co-sister-to-be birthday today. So, it happened to have a family get together at the restaurant and we all enjoyed having the food together. So, officially 1 month count down started for my brother-in-law wedding and i am so much held up with the wedding works. Crossing fingers for all the good things that are about to happen.

Day 82, Jan-22-2021
"You won't get much done if you only grind on days you feel good"
First of all, i too witnessed the mystery mist this morning. The climate was suspiciously wonderful and obviously triggered a lot of questions on its own. Didn't expect the foggy weather, but i thoroughly enjoyed viewing from a top floor balcony of a tall standing building.
And also, i took a drive on the vandaloor road towards OMR and i thoroughly enjoyed the 45 mins drive. The green bushes and empty road was such a good combo of nature.

Today i took almost 15 mins of slow walk in the evening and it happened to jog and walk on the "8" shaped lane for another 15 mins.

4th meal - elaki banana × 4
5th meal - dosa, fish curry

The climate is really not favorable for workouts. Although the weather is good in mid morning and noons, but it is extremely cool in early mornings. This is being a real obstacle for my workouts.
Day 80, Jan-20-2021
"How bad do i need this?"
So after almost a week, i moved back to my diet and exercise routine.
Workouts:

3rd meal - chapati, veggies, fish fry, rasam rice

5th meal - chapati, chicken curry, fish fry

It was actually a banana day. Almost had 4 elaki bananas and 1 red banana.
Day 73 to 79 : Jan 14 to Jan 19, 2021
The pongal vacation days are just over for me !!! Although officially it ended up after i visited my parents on last sunday, still it got dragged to tuesday, as i couldn't pull myself from my laziness and holiday moods.
I tried all the possible ways to kick start my exercises but i was too bored. So, i relaxed as much as i could and back in track now.
These relaxing days were actually so peaceful for me. I enjoyed good food and pooja and dressing up and fresh looks.
I know i wasted 6 days almost but it's ok to be off and then ON.
With good moods and good energy, i am back in track on day 80.
Day 72, Jan-13-2021
!!!!!!BOGI DAY!!!!!!!!!
To begin with, Happy bogi to all !!
The buses queued in the depot gave me the festival feel. I was remembering my college days when i used to rush home , after the college. Infact, i was recollecting whole childhood pongal holidays. I still remember celebrating the festival in our native with my whole father side relatives. A lovely small village where everyone were like family.
As far as my assumption, i believe 90's kids were the last generation to enjoy the pongal festival as such. The traditions got modernized these days. And, i am very conservative person when it comes to religious festivals. So, i try my best to be on the ground to celebrate it with the roots.
And, morning around 6 AM , me and my cousin burned few grabage to celebrate bogi. It sparked me my dad's line "பழையன கழிதல், புதியன புகுதல் தான் போகி". It was always me and my dad who used to burn all the wastes in the early morning. And, he always mentions this line on the bogi festival.
Workouts:
Morning - 1 hour walking, 10 mins jogging, 30 mins trekking , warmups
Evening - Yogasanas

5th meal - 1 roti, 1 idly, sprouts curry
I am planning to take rest for tomorrow. So, mostly there won't be any workouts and i will be enjoying all the yummy pongal menu.
Day 71, Jan-12-2021
Workouts:
Morning- 1 hour 30 mins walking and 10 mins jogging
Meals:
1st meal - Mint Ginger Lemon Tea
2nd meal - wheat dosa, onion chutney, tomato chutney
3rd meal - bread, manathakkali keerai kadaiyal, tomato chutney
4th meal - snacks
5th meal - noodles
So, this day was actually very tired one. Continuous walking and no break, made by day a tired one. Despite of that, evening we went to shopping and spent almost 4 hours outside and i ended up eating several snacks and maggi noodles for dinner.
Morning i checked my weight and still fluctuating between 65 kgs to 66 kgs. I have hardly 29 days in hand. And my goal is to atleast reduce little more. Although i shaped my body now, still i want to enter into the BMI category.
It is actually very challenging now!!
Day 70, Jan-11-2021
"Clear your mind of can't"
Let me write this first. I had zero energy while i woke up today because of the last few day's workouts and diet. I didn't have enough sleep yet for the workouts i did. It was supposed to be a rest day but turned out to be regular cardio day. I am so glad that i made it.
Workouts:
Morning:
Walking - 1 hour
Trekking- 30 mins
Jogging - 5 mins
Evening:
Skipping- 350 counts
Meals:
1st meal - plain dosa, kara podi, groundnut chutney
2nd meal - fig, walnut
3rd meal - brown bread, aloo ladies finger masala
4th meal - almonds
5th meal - fried gram and brown sugar, papaya pieces
6th meal - oats , pickle
And, another happy news is , my new trainee has reduced 2 kgs in a week. He is totally into weightloss goal for next 1 month.
Day 69, Jan-10-2021
"Don't let a stumble in the road be the end to your journey"
Workouts:
Morning,
Walking - 1 hour
Meals:
1st meal - Mint Ginger lemon tea
2nd meal - 1 pesarattu dosa, 2 plain dosa, white chutney, sambar
And for the rest of the day, i couldn't stay up on diet. Went to shopping to sowcarpet and so was in a flow enjoying the foods, after a long time.. chocolates, icecreams, jelabi, tandoori roti, curd rice, veg sandwich, peas dosa, thatta idly everything was part of today 😄😁
But, a good exercise person knows what should be done tomorrow. So, i have that confidence that i can burn it out. And, also the whole shopping process had some good walking efforts. So, that was an add-on.
2 best things were - i got 2 beautiful dresses for myself in budget for the most important upcoming occassions.
To mention, morning i found a new location to walk around in the chennai city limit. It is a restricted area after a particular distance. But, the very little distance itself is so scenic and natural.

Perfect workout Saturday !!!! I had 2 of them to join me for the evening workouts. Such a productive fun filled workout session 😁 with them.

After 3 to 5 days of continuous raining, today the climate was so better. I was so excited to walk, while the sun was rising and shining. I was having heavy knee pain , however managed to walk for 1 hour 30 mins.
Personally training a new person who is interested to lose weight. For now, let him be anonymous and i am just mentioning he is starting with 97 kg.

It was raining and so only home workouts, i was able to do. However, it was productive day.

So, i went to Pachamalai hills in tambaram by cycle and rounded the area, by walk and then trekked the hill.
This combination of cycling, trekking, walking burned up almost 300 calories and the day became productive. Highly satisfied!!!
And, evening met my parents when they were on the way to my younger sister home. They bought the cake from our native. After having some randomn talks with them, waved a bye. Their visit added more colours to the day.
Day 62, Jan-3-2021
Enjoyed the sunday with rain and breeze !!!
Kind of get together day with family. So occupied with household chores and yummy food and endless conversations.

2020's last day and i am so thankful to the year for providing me a thought to start this challenge.

I found a new location to trek today and definitely a perfect area to go round and round 😃 A small hill area in tambaram, which gives the feel of walking in a hill station location.
Meals:
1st meal - green tea
2nd meal - oats dosa, fish curry (my favorite nethili fish curry)
3rd meal - mixed boiled sprouts
4th meal - Wheat dosa, raddish chutney
I had plenty of household chores today and i have a lot to do tomorrow as well. So, extremely tired and exhausted. I couldn't have any lunch and it became almost evening by the time , i completed my chores. So, had an early dinner now and going to bed early. Missing that sound sleep for almost a week now.

There was little deviation in diet today. I had 2 chocolates and then half chapati, 3 extra spoons of lemon rice. It happened just like that as my cousins are here in home and we were enjoying meals together.
I forgot to mention this in last 3 days posts. I am just cleansing my face , with tomato facial. So daily 1 hour i am resting my face for it 😁😆

I met my besties for lunch and had a wonderful time with them and also a delicious lunch. We had all the fun talks inperson. Generally we stay connected in whatsapp almost on daily basis. But, meeting them and having the same stupid conversations face to face , with those loud laughs, never goes to an end. Best of 2 hours of the day !!!
So, i just had a apple for breakfast and lunch with my friends and then 2 plain dosa for dinner with white chutney.

I am just trying to control my temptation towards non veg and practically it is not going down. The more i focus to diet , the more i get tempted 😝
There a lot of vegetarian recipe, i am missing in this 😉 should start focusing on it !! 🤫

First, i should write down this...
I am so glad i came on and reached 50% of my target. I have already been receiving multiple compliments from friends and family. I have shaped my body, improved my muscle strength, entered into steady phase of maintaining weight, lost few kgs, started cycling, workouts, yoga, meditation and most importantly started enjoying small small things in life , which was missed inbetween. I am happy that i am improving and taking the effort to improve more and more.
I am not sure if someone is going to follow this, but definitely whoever is going to read it, are going to get inspired. My main motive is to promote home workouts and each one of us should know that exercising is important in life. It is not about just BMI, we should understand our body and its metabolism and stick to a healthy lifestyle.

"It is just Do or Try Atleast"

3rd meal - 1 cup rice, moong dhall sambar
4th meal - wheat cake, almond biscuit, wheat biscuit from karachi bakery

So, after 2 days trip obviously i was little sleepy. Took a nap in noon and couldn't organise diet. But, i tried my best to be on it.
Day 48, Dec-20-2020
"Once in a year go to a place you have never been before!!"
Day 2 , we went to courtallam via tenkasi but as we started late and the roads were not proper, we couldn't reach on time to the temple. So, we continued to courtallam main falls and we were the 1st batch to enjoy the shower, after the lockdown. The water was freezing cool and couldn't enjoy for long time. However, time flied like anything. We ate hot chilly bajjis and urad vada. The place is so clean and neatly maintained paid toilets. Again, there were no proper hotels for lunch, nearby to main falls. Not sure, if it was because of lockdown effect.
Then, we visited Kuttraleeswarar temple and did shopping chips and toys on the streets.
Started back to virudhunagar and on the way, when we crossed srivilliputhur, we got some palkova for family and friends.
Then finally reached back virudhunagar to prabhu's home and had dinner with the family there and they dropped us back in station and started from their again at 9.30 PM and reached back tambaram next day at 5.30 AM.
Overall expense was 4000 rupees which includes ticket, petrol fare, food, shopping.

"Travelling in the company of whom we love is home in motion"
This trip is another amazing trip in my life!! Importantly, it was just me, my husband, my son. So, that itself is more close to my heart and emotional.
We started from Tambaram Chennai at 9.15 PM in podhigai express and reached virudhunagar next day early morning at 5.35 AM. Due to corona issues, first thing in mind was safe travel. So, made the plan by car and took our close friend prabhu's car from virudhunagar.
We covered up below places on day 1,
Veerabandiya kattabomman memorial fort
Tiruchendur subramaniya swamy temple
Chepparai natarajar temple, tirunelveli
Nellaiappar swamy temple, tirunelveli
We checked-in in hotel around 4 PM and on the way we got to look at palayamkottai jail.
Hotel Palmyra Grand Suite followed all the hygiene measures and the stay was safe enough.
The distance to travel was too high so covering so many areas werent possible. But, the places which we covered were what we loved and had that craze to visit. We spent almost 6000 totally on day 1 which includes ticket, food, stay , shopping.
For people who read Ponniyin Selvan book , it will be like a rewind when we see the names of the locality.
Pros:
*Entire tirunelveli has direction boards and no need for google map itself for navigation
*Food quality is so delicious
*Worth to visit the whole place
*People are so friendly and their tamizh is so good
*City is a combination of village, town and corporation
*Surrounded by farm lands , green scenic landscape
Cons:
*Roads were little rough and NH is laid inbetween the local areas , so driving was very tough
*And no hotels on highway and it was very hard to find one
*It will take 2 to 3 days to cover up tirunelveli alone , as there are so many many places to visit and a 1 day plan wont workout.

"Happiness is travel"
Yeah!!! I have started my 2 days trip from chennai. Will write a detailed note on the trip and the fun on monday.
Workouts:
Morning- 45 mins walking
Evening - meditation 10 mins
Meals:
1st meal - ragi dosa, tomato chutney, beans sambar
2nd meal - wheat dosa, tomato chutney, avarakkai poriyal, beans sambar, yam fry
3rd meal - sweet potato payasam flavored with jaggery
4th meal - idly, onion chutney, yam fry leftover
So, with lots and lots of excitement, i am starting my trip to south tamilnadu - Thirunelveli!!! It is going to be a devotional trip with lots of fun!!
