Don Bosco School of Theology (Philippines) is delighted to announce an enriching online Lenten recollection series titled “LENTEN rECO”. This unique program, rooted in the spirit of reflection and renewal, intertwines the sacred observance of Lent with the urgent call for ecological stewardship encapsulated in the seven Laudato Si’ goals.

Francis Gustilo, SDB, LENTEN rECO will feature a lineup of distinguished speakers who will delve into various aspects of environmental sustainability and spiritual growth. In Don Bosco Technical School and Children Fund of Kep Province, Cambodia where most of the students are Buddhist, a group of them are Muslims and very few are Catholics, we celebrated the traditional Novena to Mary Help of Christians infuse with the 2023 Laudato Si Week in a Cambodian way: Meditation.

Every night, from 19:30 to 20:30, in front to the image of Virgin Mary of the Vocations with a cute Baby Jesus, the students and teachers sit in lotus position to meditate in the miracle of the gift of life, for the peace of the world and for Mother Earth.
