Something to smile about. This was a multi-disciplinary approach and it took time but worth it. I carried out Periodontal regeneration to save 2 molars Root canal treatment with Professor Patel. Orthodontics with Dr Almas Husain. Bleaching and maintenance with the hygienists. And finally I placed 4 porcelain veneers made by Simon Newbold

Sinus lift needed. Lateral technique but the CBCT shows a lovely example of a septa which needs to be worked around - separate windows and careful lift of the membrane - you can hopefully see the membrane moving up on last shot

The tooth was deemed hopeless but removing meant horizontal and vertical grafting - definitely an option. But here we decided to opt to save the tooth and take it down a less invasive path. Root canal treatment courtesy of The very talented Prof Shanon Patel. Then regeneration with emdogain and particulate xenograft : 4 years later and still going strong

Gum recession can be corrected successfully using the appropriate technique and the best grafting material - YOU!! Gum graft from the palate is the gold standard and works beautifully. At suture removal 10 days later the re vascularisation of the site is noticeable. Patient had a small amount of bruising but no discomfort apart from day one which was managed by simple pain relief

This lovey man had periodontal and endodontic issues. upper right lateral with advanced root resorption was extracted. Prof. Shanon Patel did all the required RCT’s. Before any thought of implant placement happened - he was sent to the hygienist. He had lost extensive bone volume in the area of the extraction. Hard and soft tissue augmentation carried out and then implant placement. I now use mainly autograft with max 20% xenograft. In this case 100% xenograft with guided bone regeneration.
