My little and I were honored to attend the swearing in of the new Mayor of Fulshear - Mr. Don McCoy! I am so happy to see him take on this new role… “Leadership is something you earn, something you’re chosen for. Yesterday was an amazing morning at the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce Monthly Membership Meeting!

⭐️ Hotshot Media & Events celebrated 5 years as a member of the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce. It has been such a blessing working with the most amazing group of people at the chamber and being apart of such a supportive community! thank you Carey Handley for the certificate!

⭐️ Two sweet ladies came and visited our meeting, Mendy Hassen with Mendy Kay Interiors and Michelle Potts with - both such amazing women and I was excited to welcome them both.

⭐️ Our speaker BG Joe E. Ramirez, Jr., USA (Ret.)Texas A&M 👍🏻 Vice President for Student Affairs was the most amazing speaker - I was moved to tears several times during his presentation! One of the many powerful things he said was “the most powerful leadership tool you have is your own example.” He went on to say… in life you are going to get knocked down that is life, but how you rise and get back up, over and over again is called living‼️

He also talked about what your tombstone will read… “the dash between the dates” ….. I read the poem “The Dash” at my father funeral! Needless to say my “allergies” were really bad sitting in the crowd, along with many others! So much of what he said was like my dad was speaking to me! What an amazing morning and was to lead our community. He talks about being in the military and how each person played such an important role in “the plan” - like we all do in life and in helping and building friendships, businesses and relationships! WOW - Thank you Mr. Ramirez and to the Fulshear-Katy Area Chamber of Commerce for such an amazing gift of inspiration to walk away with!

Lots of juggling 🤹🏼‍♀️ this morning with a little one not feeling well but made it and on time! ⏰ Thank goodness for this morning! ☕️
