One weekend, three cakes 🤪 well, two bake & decorate, one styling only 😅 I am not much of a baker (packet mix all the way!) but of course I love the decorating part.

A little bit of styling for my beautiful Niece’s first birthday cake smash the past weekend! It was so fun creating this custom backdrop (which did double duty at the birthday party the next day as a table decoration) and set up for to work her photography magic ✨ swipe for cuteness!

I’ve been an avid DIYer basically my whole life. “I could make that” is probably one of my most uttered phrases, especially when it comes to interior design and decorating, and especially when my brain has conjured up an image I can’t replicate with store-bought items.

Art and interior design go hand in hand for me, so I’m loving working through my Diploma of Interior Design.
In the future I hope to be able to help bring a sense of quirky, fun, nostalgia to the homes of people who are tired of the same old same, and want to inject some personality into their rooms with colour, one-off art pieces and weird-and-wonderful vintage finds!

I’ll be sharing more of my interior design journey over here as I merge with this account, because 3 Instagram accounts is a little too much work 😅
I hope you enjoy it and can gain some inspiration and ideas for your own space as I work on our home and learn the ins and outs of interior design ❤️

First pet portrait vs most recent ❤️ I can’t believe there’s not even 12 months between these pieces! I’ll never not love this painting I did of our own Ava for my son, but I’m so happy with how my skills have progressed over the last year!

Lucky last commission for the year, thank you Shelly! It’s hard to tell from the photos but under the white feathers are layers of blue and pink to help get that depth 💗💙 I wish I’d taken a picture because it looked so sweet!
