To be honest I’ve never been big on Halloween. But that has changed for me since having kids. My daughter loves everything spooky and it makes me want to buy all the bats, ghosts, and cobwebs I can, in order to make our home her spooky paradise. Kids make everything more fun!

Hi all,
I know I have been a little quiet on here. As some of you may know, in addition to running HOASBB, I am also a SAHM. Prior to being a SAHM I was a FT working mom. It was hard managing the work/life balance as a FT working mom just as hard as it is maintaining the balance as a SBA/SAHM. I have an amazing opportunity to stay at home with my babies, as well as running my own small business. An opportunity I never thought I would have. However, managing that work/life balance is hard. I want my business to grow as much as I want my babies to stop growing so fast. I can control how much time I put into my business, but I can’t control how little time I have left until my oldest is in school and no longer spending her days at home with me. When I had that realization, I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach.
I want to make sure I am soaking up every minute I have with them. Our babies are only babies for so long.💛
I will continue to make new designs, create new content, and attend markets, however, I will be doing it at a slower pace. A pace that is both manageable and enjoyable for myself as a SBA, but most importantly as a mommy. I want to thank you all for your continued support! 💚

Soooo yesterday was a great day! I think I am feeling more excited about it today now that the nerves are gone and it has finally sunk in that I completed my FIRST market. 😁
I met some of the nicest vendors/shoppers and I think that was my favorite part. Nothing beats meeting kind, likeminded individuals who all want to support each other.
I was so anxious about my set up. I’m pretty sure I did a mock set up in my dining room 3 different times. 😆 But I think it paid off because I actually received quite a few compliments on how well my booth looked. Now I just need to tackle my outdoor set up with my tent, which I’m excited about because I will have more structure/ “walls” to use as part of my setup.
I can’t wait for the next one! 🥰 Thank you to everyone who reached and out wished me luck yesterday. I so so appreciate everyone’s support!❤️
