Thanks to all who came out to celebrate Light Up Lansing and the annual Christmas tree lighting at the Main Street Plaza. We are grateful for the volunteers who helped set things up in the snow and wind, the Kee High choir members and a visit from Santa! May your days be merry and bright indeed!

Just two weeks away - bring the kiddos to see Santa, sing some carols, drop off some food donations for LIFT and celebrate the lighting of Lansing's tree on Main Street. It all gets underway at 4 pm on Saturday, December 9th. Hope to see you there!

Yes, the show will go on, Friday, October 13th from 4-7 pm! Sip of Lansing will be held, rain or shine (but yeah, the sunshine thing is pretty unlikely at this point). We have 15 shops and restaurants waiting to welcome you for some early evening shopping, sips of warm cider, hot chocolate, moonshine, car parts punch, Heritage cider and more, and some tasty snacks as well. Your ticket to sip your way up and down Main Street is only $15 and all proceeds go to the Women in Business scholarship fund. You'll find tickets and wrist bands and Coffee on the River , Red Geranium Floral and Gifts , and Lansing Works . Bring your appetite and we'll see you there!

Congratulations to our 2023 Lansing Women In Business Scholarship Winners. The scholarships were awarded last night at Kee High School's annual awards ceremony on Wednesday evening, April 26th. We were impressed with both of these young ladies' visions for their future and we are proud to be able to support them in their endeavors as they grow on the next phase of life's journey! Congratulations to Neva Peterson and Phoenix Crass! The 2023 Fall Fashion Show, held to raise funds for our scholarships, will be held on Friday, September 15th!

Lansing Area Women in Business have been busy planning some new events for the new year. Our first new event of the year is our Networking Night on Thursday, March 23rd from 5 - 7 p at Shep's Riverside Bar and Grill. Come relax, meet someone new, find out how you can support our members' businesses and how we can support you in your plans and goals. We'll have some drink tokens to share and additional information on our upcoming events. We hope to see you there!

All proceeds will go to our organization's scholarship fund supporting the education and endeavours of area entrepreneurs.
