This patient presented with long standing history of this lesion near the rim of the nose. She has had it frozen few years ago but it was left with a crater in the centre.
This is a dermatoscopic picture of a benign nævus (mole). I treated with radiofrequency effectively without using needles or a knife. Let’s follow up on her healing journey in a few weeks’ time.

It takes up to 2 weeks for results to show. Don’t be too excited yet.

What does long-threads face lift look like?

These long threads are called Mint Petit Lift ®️. They are made of PDO dissolvable polydioxane sutures. Lasting about 18 months. These are about 1mm in thickness with small anchors on the sides to secure onto the soft tissue, creating a lift of about 5-10 g against gravity (per thread). Each treatment comprises of 4 long threads and are usually placed two on each side. Depending on the desired results, these threads can be positioned to achieve softening and lifting of smile lines, redefining jawline and softening of jowls.

It takes about 30-40 mins including anaesthetic. Post treatment period of avoiding swimming, facials and massages for about a week. Patients can wash their face normally. It is advisable to apply skincare in the upward direction to allow the anchors to secure into position. Pain relief is recommended for the first 3 days.
