The Town of Jimmyville, Inc
The Town of Jimmyville, Inc. is located in the scenic hills of Fallston Maryland. It is a 16x24 foot 3 layer O gauge layout, with 7 trains running.
Jimmyville was started in 2006 and it is 90% done. Each year we put a little more detail in it, with 7 trains running, and 10 animated building. A fire scene with 2 burning buildings and a dozen of Baltimore's finest pieces of fire equipment with lights flashing and firemen coming to the rescue is one of the many eye catching scenes. When the sun goes down everybody jumps into their car or truck a

Because of Covid we had to rethink on how we feed the needy.I work for the B&O RR Museum downtown.Every Sunday we pack 10 bags of food and hand them out to the homeless. Today I talked to a young man who I give a bag to every week. To see the smile on his face when I tell him what's in the bag.And he sits on the curb and makes a sandwich. It makes me feel good for a moment and then I realize how rough these folks have it living on the streets. And I for one will not judge these people. It seems like a lot of them are dealing with the cards that they where dealt. And the young man I met today his name is Justin.Today was a eye opener.
It's getting cold outside. Since I have to work tomorrow I made our goodie bags ๐. Early. If anyone wants to donate let me know.I hand these out on my way home.
Just another day in Baltimore.
