We are fast approaching the 9th of August. The day that we have the chance to vote and make a difference.
Where I've been in the past and the vision ahead that I have is what inspires me on a daily.
This is a throwback of where I began the hustle as a young man. I was also able to play football alongside some other talented youths.
It has been a long and tough journey for me and other residents of Kiuu Ward. However the hope and desire of better days keeps us all going.

Kiuu Ward residents deserve the best.

Many people worldwide lack access to primary health care facilities. This mere fact has in the past caused deaths in different parts of the world especially Africa.

I, JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A will collaborate with the County government to improve current health facilities and provide fresh water access.
The current hospital in Kiuu Ward (Githurai Lang'ata hospital) has over the years been a great help to Kiuu residents especially pregnant women. However, challenges like lack of medicine and untrained practitioners has time and time again come up. I look forward to working closely with other parties to improve the hospital and ensure accessibility to all residents.
On the other hand, availability of fresh water has been a great challenge for decades. Kiuu residents have struggled in search of water for a very long time. It is my aim to increase water access in our community by ensuring every homestead has water.
A healthy community is a wealthy community.

On Election day, we are hoping that you make a great move and elect JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A. A young man born and raised in Kiuu Ward. A young man ready to be of service to the residents. A young man set to bring about change in various sectors. A young man with a vision.

This is how our first Rally went down.
Accompanied by men, women and youth, we covered 60% of Kiuu Ward on foot.

JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A is the song we will keep singing till the very end.

Women are the heart of a home hence that of a community. In her presence, she ensures everything is rightfully taken care of be it the children or finances available. Empowering her is making certain the growth of a community.

I, JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A my main aim is to assist women groups (Chamas) in registering as Community Based Organizations (CBOs). This will allow them access to government issued funds. In addition, it is important to understand that CBOs registration is open to Youth groups and People With Disabilities (PWDs). The funds allocated will allow each group an opportunity to set up a project aimed at the development of them and the community at large.

In the trading sector we shall push for inclusion by ensuring equal distribution of benefits among the women, the youth and PWDs.
I will also work with the County government to reduce Non-Tarrif Barriers (NTBs) to trade. These refer to a wide range of restrictions imposed by government authorities that make trading difficult or expensive. A common barrier among traders and businesses in Kiuu is the issuance of Licences and business permits.

Implementing the right things and getting rid of the difficulties will provide greater opportunities for residents of Kiuu Ward.

Education is a powerful aspect responsible for development of a community. It assists in reducing poverty, improving health and even promoting peace.
Studying for our children was made easier when the government started the free primary education program in 2003 under PRESIDENT MWAI KIBAKI. The program however has its challenges.
When elected I, JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A will work closely with education stakeholders to ensure proper staffing and funding that will even provide school libraries. This will help improve the current learning conditions.
I will also support parents and learners by ensuring timely and fairly allocation of bursaries. This will allow our children an opportunity to continue their education.
Last but not least, I look forward to working closely with Kiuu Ward residents to instill, promote and provide different manpower skills for the youth. Life skills are acquired informally and can only be promoted if all Kiuu Ward residents work together. A successful learning process will ensure self employment for our youth.
An educated community is a better community.

This verses from the Bible best describes the definition of a good leader. One that thinks not of himself but of all others before him.
It is the best virtue any leader can possess.
God himself annoints the leaders he finds fit to be of service. We should Pray, Believe and Trust that His guidance will lead us to make the right decisions.

It is important for any community to join hands and work together positively for the betterment of their lives and those of others.
Yesterday, we met a great group of like minded men and women who desire a greater Kiuu Ward. They yearn to have better ROADS and DRAINAGE system, better BUSINESS opportunities and most importantly better and available EDUCATION for their children.

JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A has the same desire for our Kiuu Ward. An able spirit and strength to make things better. An intense love for the community and its people.

It saddens me when I hear and see people refuse their right to vote in an election. The right to vote is part of the democracy of a country. The rule of the people by the people and for the people gives everyone an opportunity to have a say.
I do get it though because we have time and time again voted for leaders that took us for fools. They promise to provide change but vanish as soon as they're elected into office.
However, doesn't changing the system begin with me and you?
How do we expect things to ever be different if we're not willing to make moves?
Those before us had to fight to acquire the right to vote. The right to make decisions.
As much as previous leaders have burned us, there are still good leaders ready and willing to bring the change we desire.
It is up to us to have the knowledge understanding and wisdom to vote in the right people. It is important to know that your vote counts and your voice matters. So let it count!!

JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A has recently been able to make rounds in different parts of Kiuu Ward. Speaking to the people has motivated him to work even harder to get the opportunity to be of service.

Yesterday we attended the final journey of one of the residents in Kiuu Ward.
The biggest overall lesson is how important it is to have togetherness amongst each other.

We visited areas of Mumbi yesterday and gifted the women with aprons and talked to them about the issues they face as residents of Kiuu Ward.
Most of them took time to talk about opportunities for their sons and daughters. Empowerment of all the youth in the long run will ensure a greater tomorrow for our community.
Voting for JAMES NJUGUNA NG'ANG'A, a young man born and raised under the struggles of Kiuu Ward will guarantee great leadership. Leadership that has utmost inclusivity.

Yesterday we visited people around Forty, Kwangethe and Booster areas. Our aim is to listen to as many people as possible. Everyone's opinion matters. The young to the old and the men and the women.
WE ALL MATTER!!

We had the opportunity to fellowship with the members of Covenant Church today. A big thankyou to Pastor Githinji for welcoming us with open arms.
GOD ABOVE EVERYTHING!!

Today, JAMES NJUGUNA and the team had the chance to talk to the people. We went door to door through Pima Gas all the way to Progressive areas.
It was great to listen to the people and their wants and desires for Kiuu Ward.

One of the things that make James Njuguna the best man to take care of Kiuu Ward is the fact that he understands the people's struggles.
This is him as a young man riding a cart(mkokoteni). He has the ability to make Kiuu GREAT!!

A political party is known to have members who possess similar ideological beliefs. The aim of these members is to work together in service of the people and accordance of the law.
In the past, voters decisions on the candidates of choice have greatly been influenced by Political parties. The popularity of a Party being determined by its leader or even how long its been in existence.
However, most of the leaders we have previously voted for in accordance to their Political Party lack these same ideologies they supposedly require. They lack the strive to implement the set policies and serve the people.
It is high time that we begin to vote our leaders in accordance to their ability to perform and not how well known the party they represent is.
Their plans and clear vision for the people should be what we consider. Their ability to serve diligently should be what we look forward to.
At the end of the day, service to the people will be offered by that one person we decide to vote for. Only him/her will ensure if we move forward or lag behind in development.
Let us BE BETTER and learn to VOTE BETTER for the BETTER!!

What's most important is the people. We are keen to listen to what the people want for Kiuu Ward.

Kiuu Ward is our home and as we are it's occupants, we require an opportunity to move forward.
Every sector is crippled one way or another. The youth and the women lack support from the local government.
Time and time again, we vote for leaders and all they do is fail us.
They lack the strive, the vision and most especially love and dedication for Kiuu Ward and it's people.

Allow me to introduce you to a young man.
Raised and nurtured in Kiuu Ward. He understands the struggles of the people for he is the people. He has the ability to make things better for us and for our children.
