Inferno 16u White squad went 1-2 at TORHS in round robin defeating Rink Rat Vipers 8-2. Losing to Wheel City 6-3 and RK Nighthawks in OT 4-3. They entered the playoffs as Tier 2, 1st seed. First round, they defeated Pharaohs White 8-0 but unfortunately fell to Steel City Shockwave in the final 3-2. Incredible battle this weekend Inferno 16u White!

Great weekend of hockey for Inferno 16u Black! The squad went undefeated at TORHS through round robin defeating Rink Rat Pharaohs White 4-0, Butler Cobras 4-3, Rink Rat Pharaohs Blue 5-2. They entered the playoffs as the Tier 1, 2nd seed, defeating Butler Cobras 7-0. Unfortunately they lost to Unify Konixx Black Ice in the Tier 1 Championship 5-1.

We will be hosting an adult inline tournament for Make-a-Wish Greater PA and WV on June 17th!

If you do not sign up by May 15th you will not get a jersey. No exceptions.

Please bring both uniforms for photos tonight at MP Sportszone but plan to wear black for the pictures. 6:30 (WPIHL HS White), 6:50 (WPIHL HS Blue), 7:30 (10U), 7:40 (14U), 8:00 (12U Black), 8:20 (12U Blue), 8:40 (WPIHL HS Black). Order forms will be available tonight.

10u/12u/14u Updates

My name is Joshua Morgan, Assistant Coach for 10u/12u Inferno and Inferno Marketing Director. Most of you know me or have at least communicated with me via email or text. I wanted to get an update out with some info that will hopefully answer some of your questions. If you have any questions that do not get answered from this please email, call or text me. I will put my info at the end of this email, along with the Inferno Administrator, Brad Clark, and 10u/12u Head Coach, Clay Plyler's information.

If you recently registered and need a jersey please respond to this email right away to advise Brad Clark of the need. We've had two separate uniform ordering opportunities and the majority have ordered but we need a minimum order quantity for the vendor to reopen our online store.

Practices: 10u, 12u and 14u practices will be held at PPI in Delmont starting April 13th on the Allegheny Rink (Far right rink as you enter the building). 10u and 12u will have 10 consecutive practices all at PPI that start at 7pm. That fee is $100. 14U will have five dedicated practices that start at 8 PM. They will be 4/20, 5/4, 5/18, 6/1, and 6/15. If you paid $150 (the original published amount) you are currently registered to attend both practice sessions on the evenings 14U also practices. (Fosbrink, David Morgan, Lorenzi, Rockovich, Wassel, Kaminsky, Seaman, Pribozie, Altman, Murray)

Rosters: There are rosters for the WPIHL Spring League and there will be rosters for the tournaments. Please keep this in mind as these are published. We are waiting on the final decision on divisions in the WPIHL. ROSTERS MAY CHANGE AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE SEASON. Please be patient and understanding as there are multiple factors in roster planning. Tournaments and travel rosters have different rules. They are more strict with age groups and the submitted rosters. Rosters that started the qualifying round also must be the roster that goes on to the semi-finals and finals (could be different days and locations). Inferno's goal is to do travel tournaments and we want to do as many of these events as possible. Having enough that are willing to go and play is the challenge.

Communication and Info: We are trying to provide several ways to get info to you as the parent. First and the easiest is email. Please be looking for emails from [email protected]. Some parents have found that the emails were going to junk. Tell a friend, keep each other informed. We can't control what ends up in a junk folder. Second, Spond app for the organization. This is a super easy way to communicate between each other, team questions, organization questions, etc. If you have not downloaded this yet please do and sign up as a parent. And if your child has a phone and you feel comfortable with them signing up have them do that as a player. I will put the link to Spond at the bottom. Third, the website is www.inferno-hockey.com. This has more basic and generic information but will probably answer several questions you may have. I will have most of the upcoming information, rosters, changes on the site this week. We also will have a Google Calendar link available that you can subscribe to. This will be all Inferno events but it will add reminders into your phone for you. I will also have a bulleting board on the main page for urgent updates. Fourth, Facebook and Instagram pages have been created and shared so follow those also because we will share just about any info from the website to there also. And remember, feel free to call or text me or Clay for info, we are always happy to help.

WPIHL Season: the start of the season is April 22nd/23rd at RMU. We don't have exact times and dates yet as they are finalizing team signups and rosters. We will have 2 practices before the first game, April 13th and April 20th. Please try to be at those so everyone can get comfortable and give everyone a good look at our team. I have the player roster for the season at the bottom of this email and attached.

ECHO Regional Qualifier is the weekend of 4/15/2023 at Mt. Pleasant. The divisions are 10u and 12u. Fees are based on roster sizes. Deadline for roster submission is April 8th but we would like to have our roster complete and payments finalized by March 30th. Also, the roster submitted will be the same roster for the ECHO North Finals on the weekend of 6/9/2023 also at Mt. Pleasant. I will be reaching out to everyone individually in the next 2 weeks to get rosters figured out.

TORHS Pittsburgh Regional is the weekend of 4/28/2023 at Mt. Pleasant. The divisions are 10u and 12u. Fees are based on roster sizes. I don't know the deadline for roster submission but I imagine its pretty close to ECHOs. Also, the roster submitted will be the same roster for the National Championship in AdventHealth Center Ice in Wesley Chapel, FL, dates are currently 06/22/2023 to 07/02/2023. This will take planning if we decide to take a team to FL.

Rinkster Cup is a possibility. They have not published dates and times yet. Last year it was mid August at 422 Sportsplex in Pottstown PA. Fees were the same as other tournaments.

It sounded like we did not have enough interested in a team for Wish Cup in Tennessee this year, mainly because ECHO finals is the same weekend. I will check again with everyone to verify.
