This is the dramatic and moving moment where an entire school assembly performed a Haka for a teacher who was about to retire. Nearly all of us had a teacher who helped shape our outlook on the world, our moral code, or taught us a vital skill. John Adams was that teacher for many at a High School in New Zealand for 30 years as he touched the lives of countless students during that time. When he announced his retirement the students worked out a plan to honour him in his final school assembly. A video taken of their tribute went viral on YouTube being watched by millions as people acknowledge the respect shown in this wonderful cultural moment. Watch video in comments below 👇

Four men walk on stage with only one acoustic guitar for a performance of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean like no other. Kneeling down, the first man starts playing the instantly recognisable drum rhythm on the base of the guitar. Then the other three men join in, playing the main riff, the rhythm and the lead vocal all on the same guitar in an otherworldly display of musical synchronisation. If you closed your eyes, you would swear that there is more than one guitar playing. It seems impossible such intricate and layered music could come from a single instrument. In Virginia, 2003, Johnny Cash would sit down for his last ever public performance. Helped by two gentlemen to his chair, Johnny stops to grab a plectrum from his pocket before being handed an acoustic guitar. He then says his trademark, "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash", before embarking on his final performance. Despite having a nervous system disease, Johnny's performance was spectacular as he played in his instantly recognisable style and still enjoyed every note played. His final performance came just 2 months after his wife, June, had passed away, making this a surprise performance and a triumph of the great man's spirit. Watch video in comments below 👇

This is a photo of Chris Olkeseni who was my guide on a Kenyan Safari holiday. It was because he said " we used to know the exact day the rain would come, now we do not". I said "would you like a wellll in your village?" The women no longer have to walk 10-15 kilometres to find water.
