Since 2012 when we wrote our first application to obtain funding to start the Initiative, we have been at the forefront replacing with Textbooks2.0. Today we are excited to kick off as Kansas State University & KSU Foundation 2020 cause! is a one day (3/25), one cause event. Thank you to K-State Student Governing Association & K-State Libraries for their initial Initiative support; Kansas State University & most recently KSU Foundation have been critical supporters. Interesting survey data showing a decrease in the amount that college students are paying for course materials with a large decline this year but also declines over 5 years. Hope American Enterprise Institute's Mark J. Perry can provide context about the disconnect between these results and U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics data, which show a plateauing but not this decrease in his update to his Chart of the Century this month. https://beta.bls.gov/dataViewer/view/timeseries/CUUR0000SSEA011
