On July 15, join the third session of the Forensics and Pandemics Webinar Series, entitled "PLANNING AHEAD". Tune in as we discuss how forensic science is used in developing better plans to mitigate the COVID-19 crisis. To enlighten us, three esteemed speakers will be gracing our third session:
First, Prof. Alfredo Mahar Lagmay, PhD, the executive director for geology in the University of the Philippines Diliman, will discuss"Pandemic Response Planning using Data Science".
Next up is Prof. Fransisco Datar, PhD, a biological anthropologist from the University of the Philippines Diliman Department of Anthropology who will discuss "Disease, Plagues, and Epidemics: The Bioanthropological Perspective".
Last but not the least, is Prof. Hemlata Pandey, a forensic odontologist from the KEM Hospital Department of Forensic Medicine in Mumbai, who will discuss "Evolution of Forensic Practices and Dead Body Management after COVID-19 Outbreak".
