Missy ma’am’s!
We are SO proud of our favorite Missy! She came back from her training break with a FIRE and is showing us everything she can do 👏🏼🖤

!
Not to be outdone by the other dogs, new to the team Kona showed off by transferring those wall board skills over to the target board!

Practice
Great practice today! Really seeing Buffy blossom before our eyes!

Yay Aspen!
After taking a break for a while to work on ball drive at home, our most fav Aspen is back and doing better than ever!

Late to the game (thanks back to school and head cold!), but we finished our second tournament this last weekend!! The most important: the BIGGEST shoutout to Glacier Shakers Flyball Clubwho not only hosted a great tourney, but true to their fairy godmother status, helped us every step of the way. We had the opportunity to list our most fav Truman as a 5th dog again and he got many runs in with our crew! Nearly half of the GS team ended up running him alongside our team through the weekend. Tell me what other team would send their captain over to run a dog from their team against their own team in the other lane?! Much love and appreciation 🖤🖤 We had many hiccups still, MANY NF’s (it’s a talent 💁🏻‍♀️), and lots of learning! A big highlight (in the video attached) was Buffy finally using her big girl brain to really focus and do full runs in a new area! Big hopes and goals for this girl soon. Luna and Lucy were about as consistent as they get and Ember did better than ever with keeping her ball held until the end! Buck gave us some unexpected Pointer Problems (™️) but we made it work. We will say it every single time: there’s a reason you don’t see many pointers in the sport! Little Luna broke her best time this tourney, breaking her usual 5.0 times several times with the best being a 4.701! Those little legs really go as fast as she can get them to. Our team ran a fastest time (ever, out of both tournies) at 21.006 seconds too! A number that I’m sure will steadily improve as our passes continue to improve and our experience grows 👏🏼👏🏼

Cove getting it done!
Ninia dialed back for a bit and did a fantastic job of building up consistent ball drive for this girl and it shows! Finally sticking those pieces together and making steady progress 👌🏼

The best!
No team is truly complete without a good boxloader and we truly had the best. Thank you Lindsey!! 🖤🖤

First tourney down!!
MANY hiccups as expected, and some unexpected. But we did the thing! 👏🏼 This is one of our better runs where we had started to figure out our lives! We had to pull in our loaner pup from GS once (thank you Jamie and Truman!!) and change our lineup suddenly but it went better than we anticipated! Lots of figuring out and slower times as we work on our passing (we have less run back area in our practice building), but tomorrow can only be better! Luna, Lucy, Buck, and Ember all earned their FDX titles today! Both GSP’s (Ember and Buck) blew us away with their consistency. There is a reason that you don’t see many Pointers in this sport and they worked us hard to get to this point, so we were extra excited! First tourney for HP Screaming Marmots in the books ✨

We had our last practice before our first tourney this weekend! Very thankful to have such a supportive and patient region who has helped us get tourney ready with our extreme lack of competition experienced dogs/handlers on our team. We definitely have some stuff that has popped up and may push out some no finishes on the first day, but we’re here to learn and gain the experience! 🖤

A few hiccups here and there, but we feel comfortable and ready enough to enter the up coming tourney! Lucy, Luna, Thea, and Buck held strong today! HUGE thanks Alaska Dogs Gone Wild for allowing us to crash today and Glacier Shakers Flyball Club for being there and suggesting this! A fantastic last minute triple club practice. We appreciate all of you and couldn’t have gotten this far without the support we’ve had 🫶🏼 Big shout out to Ninia for handling both her own dog and Luna while Luna’s normal handler is out! She is a lot of dog in that tiny package and Ninia made it out unscathed!

Sausage
Her butt could flip her completely over.

Still hitting it hard 🤞
Still hitting it hard. Nov tourney 🤞🤞🤞

Some beautiful clicks and turns.

One more of our exciting line ups! Lucy,Luna,Thea, ember!

Okay so we may be a little excited that we have 4 different line ups that work for us! Some fine tuning still to be done but we have worked hard so this! Lucy,Luna,Thea, buck
