Good morning!

Been eating a little too much junk lately? Skipping workouts? Yeah... so have I. Granted, mine was a "planned slacking off" for a vacation, but it's now back to the grind, back to reality and time to get ready for summer!

Where have I disappeared to the last couple days? Florida! A friend and I spent a great couple of days escaping everyday life at the Magic Kingdom, Epcot and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

I've been back since Wednesday, just recovering from the trip! However, tomorrow it's back to work, back to reality and back to normal eating and exercising.

I've got some exciting challenges in mind as we get closer and closer to summer, so stay tuned! In the meantime, here are some amusing images from the trip (cause apparently I like to try on hats and pose with statues!).

Spring break is finally here and it's time to pack this suitcase!!

I have final workouts planned for this evening and tomorrow before the flight, but then I'm vacationing from everything (though I MAY use the hotel gym if I have enough energy after walking around theme parks).

Spring break & Florida are only SEVEN days away - I can't wait! However, I'm already thinking about the post-vacation plan. Starting May 2, I'll be doing the 3 Day Refresh! There's nothing more frustrating than when your internet connection pauses your workout just as you're getting into it 😁 - it really destroys motivation! Thankfully the back up DVD was fine and I got back into it and finished Total Body Chisel (definitely a Hammer & Chisel favorite!) and 10 Minute Ab Chisel (not such a favorite - I can only do about 20 seconds of each move so far).

I really turned my weekend of terrible eating around this week - I got in all my workouts since Monday and ate well, so even if the scale result is not so great tomorrow, I'm very happy with what I did, and I'm getting eager to share my Hammer & Chisel Month One photo results a week from tomorrow!

Back on track after the big eating weekend - made up for a missed workout yesterday so technically I've only missed one workout on the Hammer & Chisel rotation which, if energy allows, I will throw in later after today's scheduled workout. Eating and water were also right back on track yesterday and so far, so go today!

When my weekend started, I fully expected to get workouts in and eat relatively well, despite knowing I had a bunch of plans. Well... that's not what happened. Brunch Saturday turned into manicures and then a cleaning marathon (yup, AFTER manicures) and then today I saw my mom perform which involved another brunch AND we ended up going to dinner after.

So while it wasn't a highly successful weekend, I'm not counting it as a failure either as I enjoyed every minute of it. Instead, I'll use it as an opportunity to work a little harder this week.

Life happens sometimes - it's all about balance.

So excited that there are new Cize workouts exclusively on Beachbody on Demand!!

I found them today after doing Hammer Power and wanted to give one a try for a few minutes - ended up doing the whole thing!! They really don't feel like exercise!
