[Part 10/11]: So, what's happening now is that we are in the process of moving into our new location, and I couldn't be more excited about it. The best part is that it's right next to Treehouse World, which is absolutely fantastic. While we will continue our business model of having therapists throughout the county for the convenience of families, we are also bringing therapists into our new location because it only makes sense for them to be there. Currently, we are preparing the building for use. It needs some painting, and we need to remove old rugs and make some minor adjustments. Additionally, we are thrilled to announce that we will be collaborating with juvenile probation. This partnership brings me immense joy because it means we can provide a healing space for children. Who knows, maybe one of these kids will feel comfortable enough to say, "Hey, this happened to me. Can I talk to a therapist?" We understand that when children start to act out, it can often be due to past trauma. If we can be their safety net and have them in that healing space, it would be incredible. Just imagine going to Treehouse World to see your therapist. It's a wonderful concept. Moreover, we will have a designated area where we can conduct group sessions. Thanks to the location, we can even explore outdoor activities like art therapy or yoga classes. The possibilities are endless. In addition to that, Home Depot has generously offered us donations, so we plan on creating as many great little spaces as we can within the location. [Part 1 of 3]: People think it’s all fun when it comes to wedding planning and social events, but it really is a lot of work. I see emotions every single day and some high level emotions because it’s a stressful event. I had a wedding party and they were picking up their tuxes and one of the mothers, she picked up her dress from some other store. It was ruined. So it’s one day before the wedding and she has no dress. She found a dress here, my seamstress was here. She altered it and she picked it up the next morning and she was in tears. She was so happy, and that was like one day turn around, found the dress. I’ve meet a lot of people that have become more than acquaintances. They’ve kind of become like friends through the years and it’s extended past the business. We hear so many people say, what a great experience. Write about it and tell us by giving us good reviews, just don’t leave and let it be the end of it. It really helps us. Many go to places that are well advertised, but we are a best kept secret right in your backyard and community support means a lot. [Part 2 of 3]: We donated dresses to a non-profit that supports women. The dresses were used to model at a fundraising fashion show for their organization. I like supporting the kids and making them happy, making the girls and boys feel good. We sell dresses in tuxes to so many high schools in the whole area. We do fashion shows and all the money that’s raised goes to after prom parties. This helps keep the parties at school post prom so they’re not out drinking or at other parties. So they’re safe. Even boys come in at the last minute, like a boy came in, he was in the military and he wanted a purple tie. And I was like, why don’t you get in a suit? He goes, well I really can’t afford it, I just want the color. I said, well, it’s your lucky day. I said, you’re getting a free Tux today. So I put his Tux together cause he is in the military, had no money and it was May 19th, It’s the biggest week of the year. He was so grateful. Just little things like that, you make a difference in the world by giving back. And that’s what I like to do.
