Phew it’s been a busy few months!!
I’m now officially a Yin Yoga teacher and trained in Reiki!! Wahoo!!
With fresh new inspiration, I’m excited to be back teaching a new class called a Restore at
Meditation has been and continues to be great foundation for me. I love being able to add these 2 other modalities to reach greater levels of recharging, finding inner stillness and REST (something I’m very passionate about 🤣🤣)
Not sure where exactly it’s all leading yet, just trusting in doing what I love 💕

Work or Play
When you get to fill your day with what inspires you and feels good, work becomes play!
For so many years I battled in the corporate world, striving for more, pushing myself and trying to compete against my co-workers. It was addictive, to get the next HIT - the next promotion, the next accomplishment, hoping to get praised/recognised from those around me. The problem was, I relied on circumstances outside me to feel valued worthy or happy.
It has been 3 years since I really stepped out of this zone, and reclaimed ‘work’ that I love. And it is still an ongoing journey where I find my exact spot!
But today I celebrate that my work/play is sitting in a beautiful coffee shop, journaling & planning 💕💕
Who do you have to be to feel worthy? Something I am navigating at the moment as I figure out how to find my worth in the right places.
We all have strategies we employ to help us feel valued and worthy.
Relationships, careers, wealth, health, tasks, approval, praise, being busy, being funny, our identities, being good even being bad in some cases! (and so much more!) We all have our own ways to fill our self worth.
But what if a relationship fails, what if we are made redundant, what if someone doesn't get our humour - does that all of a sudden mean we are no longer worthy?
The reality is, as soon as our strategies rely on something outside of us, we fall into a trap of our worthiness being reliant on things outside of our control.
In the past I have placed my worth on being 'busy' and 'doing' Also my worth has been dependent on others - what they think of me and the feedback of my work.
As I work through the answers on how to feel worthy just because I am I remind myself , (especially in the moments I feel so much lack of worth)

✨ Keep up my gratitude practice
✨ As emotions arise, question where they stem from.
✨ Stay Conscious to acknowledge, investigate and release what is rising (not to get stuck in it or bottle it up)
✨ I don't need the answer right now, I Trust that this will unravel for my highest good
✨ On the other side of this growth period is beautiful unconditional self worth!

And who knows what next year will bring! The only thing that we are guaranteed is the uncertain! As our external world leads us into more uncertainty, I have been working away in the background to launch my new Business! One that I know so many need right now!!
Rise to Shine is my new business designed to help people Thrive from the Inside Out. To help grow our Resilience, Clarity & Confidence so no matter what the future brings, our inner world is Strong!
It is the most ridiculous/silly time of year for me to be launching my new Business - but for some reason the cards have fallen this way! I literally am so excited after months of dedication to this project - So will just roll with it!!!
I am only opening up to friends & whanau at this time, just in case there are a few kinks that need ironing out!!

I challenged myself to navigate these challenging, crazy times from a space of kindness & compassion.
Day 1: getting out of your mind into your body!
When we are so in our overactive minds so overactive, it is hard to offer genuine kindness & compassion. These qualities can’t be found in our mind!

As an introvert, time to myself in stillness, quiet & calm is EVERYTHING!!
I encourage you to think of easy daily things you can do that promote self care.
Having things to look forward to like massages or travelling are great, but they are not the things that most of us can do daily.

What will show up in your life when you release control & TRUST??
Trusting has been a huge challenge for me! To relinquish control, to let go of my addiction to 'DOING' and step away from my over analytical logical mind.
Over the last 12 months I have leaned into trusting. Trusting that things will work out without me having to control & hustle for the outcome. And I'm not going to lie - it has been down right scary at times! A death of an identity as another is reborn.
It has led me to find my purpose as a meditation teacher, something that I am so grateful for everyday. To share my gifts in a way that is sustainable for me while adding value to others.
Sometimes I feel undeserving of what is unfolding as it hasn't come from a place of hustling and pushing. It has completely come from flow and ease which sounds silly but feels too easy. But I welcome more of this into my life as I learn to lean into Trust more & more everyday
PRACTICAL TIP: Hold a vision of th end in mind, what do you want to happen. Trust that you don't have to know exactly how this vision will manifest. Begin carving the path being open every step TRUSTING that something magical will unfold beyond what you 'logical' mind could ever fathom 💕💕

Feeling powerless in the wake of what is happening?
It sucks that change and awareness has to come at the cost of tragedy!
Yet it seems to be a common theme - things often get worse before they get better.
I hope that this is the rock bottom and that no more tragedy has to be experienced to wake us up.
I hope that this horrible event is the start of awareness and healing.
If you know me, you will know I don’t like to buy into the ‘negative’ however being aware and educated is not doing this.
So what can we do??
We start with the man (or woman) in the mirror!
1. We educate ourselves
2. We choose to bring love to the situation.
I get this may seem like we aren’t doing enough, but we cannot fight hate with hate. We cannot rise above racism without bringing awareness and love to the situation - otherwise we are part of the problem!
As American author Wallace D. Wattles famously said:
“The very best thing you can do for the whole world is to make the most of yourself.”
It’s true that as individuals, we cannot control the chaos around us. As much as we wish we had the power to do so. The reality is we can not.
If there’s one thing the world needs right now, it's more people living aligned with the values that make humanity more conscious, more compassionate and more loving.
I have chosen to educate myself (which is still a WIP as we are never just done!) but also choose to focus on images such as this one.
I know that there is still a lot to heal and so much hurt, but if we can learn to be like this sheriff who put down his mask and batten to turn the protest into a parade - that’s how we begin to heal.
He let the protesters know, I see you, I am here for you. When we focus on unity and compassion this spreads over hate and fear.
I hope the media shares visions like these and not just the looting/rioting by the small minority. This just spreads more fear and judgement.
By focusing on the healing, it doesn’t mean we turn our back on the problem, it means we become part of the solution to move towards abomination of such tragedy in the future.
