There were a few fast Cheetahs on the track today at the Ride for Red Nose All Abilities ride, hosted by Friend in Me!
Lots of impressive kids showed up with plenty of true grit and a great attitude, to support vital SIDS research.
It was so wonderful to see the community come together, despite the less than ideal weather.
Well done to all involved in this tremendous effort.❤💙

Happy 1st Birthday Sparkle Face Events !

We became a registered business one year ago today and I would never have imagined we'd be where we are now.
A year ago, I was hopeful that I might get a party every couple of months and my 5 year goal was to be able to one day perform at the Piccadilly Market. 💗
To be here, nearly 100 events later, it is hard to believe how quickly we grew and the support from the Geelong community has been incredible right from the very beginning.
I am always so humbled every time I see Sparkle Face tagged in posts looking for face painters.

I just wanted to add a few thank yous here.
Thank you Janina at the Piccadilly Market for putting your trust in me and allowing me to face paint at many of their incredible events around the region - we love Piccadilly!
To Lou at Friend in Me, I am so excited to be involved with your beautiful charity and look forward to many more opportunities to give back and spread joy with you in the future. 💙💛❤

To my husband and kids, who have been so amazing at taking on this big adjustment in our famiy. Spending time away from them, on the weekends is hard and I am so grateful that they are always in my corner, supporting every plan/ every job I take on. I couldn't do this without their support.

Sparkle Face literally feeds our family. It is such a blessing. Exciting things are on the way - I'm hoping that includes a website soon to expedite bookings and adding more services we can provide, which I am feeling incredibly inspired about at the moment.

I was so stoked to be invited along to this amazing party full of childhood nostalia - complete with jumping castle, animal farm and face painting - all the grown ups were reliving their happiest childhood memories.
Lots of arm paints tonight in this weather - their favourite animals, childhood cartoons - it was a blast from the past!

As the weather warms up and more events are happening each weekend, it's crucial to be aware of the products used for face painting. Just because the paint claims to be "non-toxic" doesn't mean it's suitable for faces. Acrylic paint can cause skin irritation and serious damage if left on for a significant amount of time.

With many schools, daycares and businesses hosting end of year/Christmas parties myself and fellow Geelong based party/event entertainers have seen an increase in people using craft paints and craft glitter which may pose risks.

To ensure the safety of the young and young at heart, hire a professional that uses only the highest quality, cosmetic grade products and has insurance! Or if hiring a professional isn't within your budget, purchase some professional FDA approved supplies.
