1 week of ‘Believe What You Believe’ being out in the world! 🛸

It’s crazy to think that the chorus of the title track was written some 4 years ago now and sat dormant in our phone voice memos until January ‘22. We had both arrived back to London from spending Christmas at our respective family homes, where we had both written songs that would become the blue print for our sound, allowing us to finally finish the song ‘Believe What You Believe’ and write many more that we hope to share with you one day. Once we started writing, we haven’t stopped since.
God knows what saw in those early demos, but we’re super grateful to have worked with him as our producer in his very lovely studio in the countryside last summer.

Fast forward a year and 4 songs are out in the world for people to connect to. For us, the EP tracks are 4 signposts of our sound - each one leaning in a little more towards some of our favourite music, from shoegaze and dream pop, to Scott Walker, Arctic Monkeys, 60s film scores and 70s funk.

We feel so lucky to hear what our music means to other people that it has been finding. It can be tough sometimes as an unsigned and unmanaged act to stay motivated, especially when you want something so bad. But this is the things that keep you going, a sense of connection and growth within ourselves as writers.
