The age of millennials is the age of memes!

THEME: SCIENCE FOR THE PEOPLE: GEARING TOWARDS THE NEW NORMAL IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC

📍 Important Dates :
⚡Contest Starts: October 5, 2020
📍How to apply :
Mail us your entries at [email protected] on or before October 4, 2020 along with your name, grade and section and a link to your Facebook profile.
📍 Rules :
⚡The competition is open to all Grade 11 and Grade 12, SY 2020 - 2021.
⚡Liking the page of San Juan SHS - Science Club is mandatory.
⚡Plagiarism of any sort shall be disqualified.
⚡One person can submit only one meme. More than one entry will result in disqualification.
⚡15% of the overall score will be based on the total reacts and shares of the meme post.
Voting will be closed on 8th of October, 2020, 12 midnight.
⚡The judge's decision is final.

📍 Criteria For Judgement :
⚡ Likes on your post: 15%
⚡ Creativity: 35%
⚡ Relevance to the theme: 20%
⚡ Originality: 30%

Three winners will receive a certificate, and 50-peso load. Certificates will be sent via e-mail.

In line with the celebration of the Science and Technology Month, students are invited to join the SiyensiyaMusikahan: Jingle Making Contest! ⚜️

📣 This year's theme is: SCIENCE FOR THE PEOPLE: GEARING TOWARDS THE NEW NORMAL IN TIMES OF PANDEMIC📣

✅ Participation is open to all Grade 11 and Grade 12 students of San Juan SHS, SY 2020 - 2021. One entry per learner.
✅ The song must be in line with this year's theme, may be in FILIPINO, ENGLISH, or TAGLISH.
✅ Submitted demo must be not exceed 5 minutes, in .mp4 format. All entries should send via email thru [email protected] on or before 6th of October 2020, 12 midnight with the subject heading: 2020 Science Month/SiyensyaMusikahan/ Full Name.
In the email, kindly include the following details:
- Full Name and Section
- Facebook Name
✅The winner will receive a Certificate,and a 100-peso load.

The Science department of San Juan National SHS invites you to take part in our DIY science competition!

ENTRY DETAILS
1. Complete a DIY science experiment of your choice.
2. Take a video of yourself doing the experiment.
3. Submit your entries to [email protected]. In the email, kindly include the following details:
- Full Name and Section
- Facebook Name

There will be a prize for:
Most creative/innovative experiment 💡🎨
Best photo/video 📸🎥

Entries will close on Wednesday, 7th of October 2020 at 5PM. Winners will be announced on Friday, 9th of October 2020!

✅ Use long sized bond-paper (8.5 x 13), landscape orientation. No digitized work. All entries should be submitted in high resolution photos to [email protected] on or before 7th of October 2020, 12 midnight with the subject heading: 2020 Science Month/Poster Making Contest/ Full Name.
In the email, kindly include the following details:
- Full Name and Section

- Mobile Number

Criteria for Judging:
30% - Creativity and Originality
40% - relevance to the theme
30% - overall presentation
