Tonight order of events featuring World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series & Econo Mods

It’s race day! We’re Sharon Speedway bound for the season finale! It is also our last race of the 2023 season! Hoping to have another good night and better our last finish there! It is only the World of Outlaw Sprints and econo mods tonight, if you’re able to come out and watch some great racing but if not you can watch it live on this page or on dirt vision!

Pits open at 2, General admission at 4:30, Hot laps start at 6:30 and racing at 7:30!

After a solid year of ups and downs but some decent finishes, Josalyn finished 8th in points at Tyler County! We can’t thank everybody enough for everything on and off the track helping us to get better every week! We’re looking forward and excited for what’s to come next season!

The 5J is heading back to Sharon Speedway for one last go ’round for the season this Saturday! We’re hoping for another good night and to better our last finish there! If you’re able to make it pits open at 2:30, general admission at 4 with hot laps starting at 6:30!

Ran 2nd most of the race then ended up getting together with another call and the wall and fell back to 4th. Cautions definitely didn’t help but hey it’s a top 5 and a straight race car and it definitely feels like a win! That one was for the guys up above!

Jeremy Double leads all 20 laps for his 3rd win of the season worth $800 as his 21st career win ties him with Brandon Blackshear for the most all-time. Jacob Eucker 6th to 2nd. Andy Buckley 7th to 3rd. Josalyn Hibbard 4th in her debut. Zack Eller 5th

Well, checked out until a caution came out as I was coming to the checkered. Is what it is but we have a good starting spot for tomorrow! This one is for all of our angels!

19 econo mods are signed in for the night. Josalyn will start 3rd in heat 1. Going straight into the heat tonight, but we are the last class to go out so we’ll be sitting for awhile.

The 5J will be in action in front of the hometown crowd at Sharon for the Apple fest! It is also the Fallen Drivers Tribute for the ones that we love and miss the most for the Pro Stocks! Friday night is heat races and Saturday is bmain and feature!

Hillbilly weekend recap:
Friday night we had a stout field of 32 sportmods sign in and qualified 21st. That put Josalyn to start 6th in the 1st heat. After a rough race track and being able to make the bottom work, she was able to make it to 4th and claim the last transfer spot into the feature. Saturday we only had hotlaps and the feature. She started 13th and after getting spun on the first two starts, she was able to keep the nose clean and race her way to a 7th place finish while battling hard for the 5th-6th spot! We had a fast car with a very fast and racey track! We also got to watch and cheer on Kylee as she went 10th to 3rd in her feature in the mini wedges!

I seriously can not thank everybody enough for making this a great season and helping us go ‘round every weekend!

It’s been a great season here at Tyler County and we hate to see it end so soon! We have to decided to try and hit a few more races before we cal it a season, so stay tuned on where we will be headed!
