The song is inspired by a feeling of home, which I first experienced years
ago during a trip to Akaslompolo in the northern arctic region of Europe. I was walking through the forest in winter when I came across a pack of deer. They didn’t seem to mind me at first, but when I pulled out my camera, one of the larger deer spotted me and fled, followed by the others. However, one deer remained, and we shared a moment of connection as we locked eyes. Despite the cold surroundings, it felt warm, safe, and it felt like home. I captured a photo of that deer, which became the artwork for the song. The experience stuck with me, leading me to write this composition. Looking into the deer’s eyes, I am transported back in time, reflecting on my journey for a place called home. I realized that home isn’t always a physical location.. - it is where you feel the safest and where your heart is. “You’re My Home” captured the essence of this realization, communicating the importance of finding comfort and belonging within oneself.
My next EP (part 1) ‘166KM/ontheroad’ will be out November 11.
The first track, ‘Freeway’ , is available this Friday. If you haven’t already seen the intro of 166, you can go to my bio or scroll my feed ☺️ This album is a bedroompop mastered and all songs (except for Freeway) are written, produced, mixed & mastered by asora. So it kinda big deal for me to be able to push myself to do so.
Next slides are shots of what was written in the album, and why I’ve been away in silence. If they relate to you when you start to listen to them on Friday, then I hope they make you feel better 😊
See you on Friday and Enjoy the ride 💜
Xoxo,
The best feeling is when the audience sing along 🌷
You keep me going; all of you.
Thank you💜
(I rub my nose couple of times and some cracking voice as it always gets emotional every time I sing TIGBMS - I am a cry baby 🥲)
Who’s coming for ‘Tribute to The Cranberries’?
(In the making)
If someone asked me "who is your idol?" I will answer Dolores O'Riordan, for she was my inspiration, my childhood idol, and I grew up with the amazing Irish band The Cranberries.
I feel very far away from Dolores' talent, but one day I will do a tribute to her, as a thank you, for giving so much inspiration to little Asora who was still in school when she first heard and saw the song Zombie, and that's where she said "one day I will be like her".
Be ready 💜
🎵Zombie - The Cranberries
Thank you .bar , , Boggie Pocky, , for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my longing for The Cranberries.

It’s like every time I get the privileged to cover The Cranberries’s song, felt like I was being possessed by Dolores’ spirit. I borrowed her energy, her emotions to be synced with the songs. She was one of a kind, my inspiration, one day I’ll make a tribute of her.
So, who’s coming for “Tribute to The Cranberries”
