I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list…..

One early morning we started our journey to the south. I was so excited to visit the Dumanjug, South of Cebu, the hometown of my mother for the first time. On our way to Dumanjug, we side-tripped to The Monastery of the Holy Eucharist, also known as the Our Lady of Lindogon Shrine and commonly known as the Simala Shrine. We heard mass and lit candles for our petitions.
Our next stop was at the The Shrine of Archbishop Teofilo Camomot in Barangay Valladolid, Carcar, Cebu. Again, we prayed and say our petitions. Then we took our lunch at Carcar with their famous and delicious lechon and crunchy chicharon
On our way southbound I was amazed by the beautiful sea view but quickly got nauseated since I suffer from motion sickness but with the help of some candy I managed to not throw up and after some time we got to a road which was covered by woods on both side and you couldn’t see anything but trees on this winding road after some time we reach dumanjug where my mom met up with her childhood friends and we ate dinner at her friends house after dinner my mom visited her old school
After we were done visiting the school we gave our goodbyes to her friends and went on our way back home it was late I was tired but it was fun visiting a place for the first time is exciting
