Judges 16:15-17
If you follow your love for God, you will walk away from fear. Fear is an evil spirit that will guide you to hell. If you love God, you will not take decisions based on fear. Your perfect love will cast out fear.
When a man loves a woman, he is not afraid to marry her and sign up to be with her for the rest of his life. Older people, however, have more fears because they may have been married before. Many older individuals are unable to love anyone because they are afraid their lives will be destroyed by the person they link up with. “Why should I marry this girl?” they would say. “She may hinder my ministry and destroy my life.” Fear holds them back. Fear is very different from love. Your great love for God will guide you to take decisions without fear of tomorrow, fear of the future and fear of the unknown.
When you love God, you will not have any evil thoughts about God. You will be relaxed in His presence. You will be relaxed in the presence of God’s servant. You will not have negative thoughts and questions about everything. Samson never had evil thoughts about Delilah. That is why he allowed himself to relax with her. Adam and Eve entertained evil thoughts about God. Adam and Eve allowed the devil to suggest that God was depriving them of some wonderful trees that they could have enjoyed. Love does not have evil thoughts. Love tells you not to be afraid.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
