My inspiration and muse stems from the relationship between functional domestic items and how they influence our lives; how we value them and how they subconsciously influence us in return. Juxtaposing romantic natural images with reclaimed and abstractly repainted furniture/furnishings, I hope to imbue an appreciation for the comical, kitsch aspects of my work as well as the beauty of the scenes.
