Amanda Kimble, Harpist
Joplin area harpist for your next event.
Suuuuuuper excited. After years of wanting one, I finally ordered a RAREFORM bag (Merry Christmas to me!) It’s perfect. It cuts out a trip or two during set up, as it fits my music stand, harp stool and iPad (among many other things). It’s 1 of a kind AND sustainable as it’s made from recycled billboard signs. Added bonus it’s water resistant and has tons of pockets!
Absolutely loved playing for a tea party at the Carthage Historic Preservation - Phelps House. Absolutely stunning.
Had the honor of playing for Home Pro Christmas party tonight!
Had so much fun at Spring River Christian Village last week!
So honored to be asked to come back yet again. The residence at Spring River are always the so kind and welcoming.❤️💚
A little evening practice before a Christmas party happening tomorrow. A fun new addition to my Christmas set list.
Spots are quickly filling up. If your looking for something unique to add to your holiday event message me!
So very excited to play at this upcoming wine share for one of my favorite small businesses!
Super excited to play this wine-share, come check it out!!!
I had such a lovely time this weekend. Thanks again Alchemist Haven!!!
I cannot brag enough on the beautiful music shared by Amanda Kimble.
Amanda, Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us Saturday 💗🎼🎵
Simply amazing!
Incredibly excited to be a part of Alchemist Havens grand opening. Come check it out, she has so much to offer. When I pregnant with Delainey she was able to give amazing massages, when I have a migraine or Adelaide was having hip pain post cast removal her Warrior balm has been very helpful. Super excited to try her bar shampoo soon!
A cover of “Jesus Christ” from the album The Devil and God Are Raging Inside of Me, by Brand New. This is an incredibly meaningful song to me, with beautifully raw lyrics. Alas I am a harpist and not a singer. So I will post Brand News cover of it in my comments. Hope you enjoy!

Had so much fun playing for Cathleen’s art gallery opening last night!
Loved getting to celebrate organ and tissue donors and recipients today ❤️❤️
I cannot begin to express how honored I am to be a part of this every year. ❤️ Organ and tissue donation is such a beautiful thing. Adelaide’s hips were reconstructed from a bone donar. You better believe my drivers license has me down for organ donation.

A fun duet with my piano and harp student Ella for Ernie Williamson Music Christmas recital!
Also featuring my favorite 3 year old. Distracted and bribed with candy all at the same time 🤣
A fun cover of O Danny Boy. An Irish song that always makes me think of the best Irish person I know Brid Condon 🍀
Life has been pretty exciting! I still peek in my music studio every couple days in disbelief that I finally have a pedal harp! “Truce” by twenty one pilots was the first song I learned, which seemed pretty fitting as my favorite band and a concert we saw just days before my newest musical addition.
You guys I got a pedal harp! I have ALWAYS wanted one and through the years it has seemed out of reach at times. I can’t believe I am here!
I have had lots of people ask what are the advantages of a pedal harp. Here are a few:
🎵more strings/notes
🎵a bigger sound
🎵I can play in any key (due to the need to play each note as a sharp, natural or flat; and the logistics of a lever only being able to go up or down, I could only play half of the key signature options with my lever harp.)
🎵I can change sharps or flats hands free 🙌🏼
Pretty big news! My biggest harp goal to date has finally been made a reality. Any guesses what it is? Announcing tomorrow 😊😊
My biggest fan for 7 years straight. He hears the harp and comes running 🐶

Feeling honored to be a part of the Celebration of Life Service again since Covid. It’s always a highlight of my harp events every year. Organ donation has a special place in my heart.
New Years Day, by Taylor Swift. Probably one of my top 5 Taylor songs; as always the lyrics are 💯, buuuut I am a harpist not a singer so here we are.🤣Featuring black nails that are half off and a baby who if you listen close enough is JUST waking up from her nap. HAPPY 2022 EVERYONE!
The answer to the most requested sheet at Ernie Williamson is Mary Did You Know! And a special thanks to some of my piano and harp students who have been working hard on this song to make it sound beautiful. I felt inspired from it and thought “I gotta add this to my Christmas repertoire!” Happy Holidays!
Lots to be thankful for over here!❤️
Now is everyone ready to start finally celebrating Christmas with me?!🤣
Christmas song up in a week (for those of you who only observe after Thanksgiving🤣the Kimbles have been in Christmas cheer since first of November). As someone who orders print music for Ernie Williamson, I can tell you the song is the single sheet we order the most and get the most requests for. 🤔 Any guesses?!
***UPDATE! Please note the event will now take place at the Neosho event center!
Excited to be playing at Big Spring Park in Neosho this Thursday!

The Gambler by Fun. is pretty special to me. I am a sucker for good lyrics and this one in particular tells a sweet story (I am including a link of Fun. Performing it for your enjoyment). It was also played at our wedding by one of my piano students. Hope you enjoy, it’s sure meaningful to me. ❤️

Throw back Thursday! One of the songs I learned when I was first starting harp; it's still fun
As I was learning to play the harp this was my favorite song from the lesson book Progressive Harp Solos
Had so much fun playing for the Joplin Public Library VIP opening. The acoustics were amazing and the architecture was beautiful!!
5 years ago today I received my Lyon and healy harp. It was love at first sight 😍😍
